Emiline felt the warmth of the compliment as the girl of lions said it. Compliments always made her fuzzy and giggy because of his, Emiline always tried to give someone a compliment any time she talked to someone. People had told her that it makes her easier to talk to and that she was always really kind.
Emiline smiled from ear to ear as Avery took on her advice to do her sketch cartoon style. She made note of the way the girl giggled and burrowed into the
Emiline watched as Avery kept sketching, she didn't reminder her, didn't rush her, she just waited until she paused or stood up.
The older badger nodded at Avery's note that the other girl was ready to run indoors whenever she herself was. "Finish our sketches? Of course! We have to finish them, we can't just leave them half done!" The girl exclaimed, clearly passionate about completing the sketches.
Emiline slowly stood and tucked away her drawing into the folder in her bag and offered the bag to Avery, if she would like to use it too.
As soon as the pieces of paper were tucked away safely, the wind picked up even more. It made Emiline's hair whip around her face, smacking her cheeks and eyes. The wind got louder.
"You ready?" She said louder than normal to yell over the sudden wind.
"Three! Two! One! Go!" Emiline runs off towards the entrance, her scarf billowing out behind her, flicking like an annoyed cat's tail.

✽Avery smiled brightly as she followed Emiline inside. This day had turned into a good day. One that she finally had something to look forward to. Avery laughed as the two raced across the grounds towards the castle. They had to beat the storm that was brewing up some disturbing weather.
Avery was of course slower than Emiline. Her breaths coming up short after the hard run. Avery put her hands on her knees as she took a moment to gasp for air. If Mikey were there with her, she knew that he would be worried about her. She was glad he was not there. She did not want him worrying about her lungs again. It had been scary enough for both of the the year before.
Once Avery had finally caught her breath, she stood up straighter and looked Emiline in the eye. "Well, we did it! Ready to finish our sketches?" Avery smiled as she collapsed onto an empty table nearby. It was not time for a meal now, so there were few students lingering around. That meant they could finally have some more time alone to chat and have some more fun together. She couldn't wait to see what was to come.
