Min-seo walked into the store, heels clicking on the wooden floor. There were students and parents everywhere, doing last minute school shopping. People walked in groups, talking about the year ahead of them. She looked around dreamily at all the books on the shelves. This so far was her favorite store, with the books all lined up perfectly, and the rustic look to it. She smiled and traced the spines of the books, an old habit of hers while looking for things. Her hair was flowing down her back, reaching the middle of her back, and her eyes, chocolate brown speckled with gold, were darting around trying to find the books.
She checked her list. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. She had read the book several times, and she didn't know she needed it. She went over to the Care of Magical Creatures section, finding a bunch of people crowded around it. She sighed. She inched through the crowd, her smallness not really helping with it, and grabbed it. She did this with several other shelves, trying to get through the children and parents who stood in her way. When she got halfway there, she was hit to the floor, her books scattering everywhere. All of the things in her bookbag tumbled out too. She scrambled to pick them up.

Unsurprisingly the bookshop was one of the first stops Sebastian made when he arrived at Diagon Alley. He needed to get the books on his supply list anyway, spending ten, twenty, thirty more minutes wouldn't be a crime right? After all, this was a shop full of books he hadn't even read before, who would pass up on that opportunity?

Stepping into the shop he took a moment to take in the usual smells and sights a bookshop had to offer. The shelves of books covering the walls of the shop somewhat reminded him of his bedroom back at home. No, that adding a few more to his collection would hurt, his parents wouldn't say no to him buying a few extras. Like they always say, if it assists with my education it's worth the cost. No one will care if a few that aren't required just happen to end up coming home with me.

Still, he figured he should get to work on the required list first, he could browse around to his heart's content later. He pulled the school supply list out of his pocket and began to systematically work his way down it, wandering through the shelves as he reached each new topic mentioned, considering each title on the list as he walked.

Book of spells huh? Way to be upfront about the content I guess. A History of magic, so the entire history or just the parts they want us to know? Should be an interesting read anyway, I'll have to read it alongside the Hogwarts only version.

Continuing this line of thought until he reached the last book on his list, Fantastic Beasts. He picked the final book up from the shelf and was about to start scanning over the cover when he heard a crash close by. His head shot up as he peered through the crowd until he spotted a girl scrambling around on the ground, struggling to pick up all of the books lying around her.

Wow, is nobody actually going to stop and help her? I'd better give her a hand.

Squeezing through the crowd he got close to where the girl had fallen he reached out a hand to help her up and gave her a small smile. "Hey that looked like it hurt, are you okay? Here, I'll help you carry some of those."

Min-seo was still trying to pick up all the books, slightly panicked when she heard someone say,
"Hey that looked like it hurt, are you okay? Here, I'll help you carry some of those."
She looked up to see a boy around her age with brown hair and hazel eyes, sticking out a hand to help her up with a smile. She smiled shyly and took his hand to help her up, pulling her light body up into a standing position.
"Yeah, I'm fine, mostly. It did hurt though," she said quietly, rubbing her arm. "Thank you for helping me. I was slightly scared there I would get trampled on by all these people. May I ask your name? My name is Min-seo. Min-seo Kim, and I guess I'm a first year now." she said softly, for that was just her normal voice. It was not very loud. It could be at times, but it was highly unlikely for the girl to speak any louder than she was now, maybe a little bit louder, but not that much. She just was extremely shy and didn't know what to do sometimes, although she did try her best to talk to people.

Sebastian gave the girl a quick look over as she pulled herself up. She appeared to be fine at least if a little shaken up, but it never hurt to be safe.

"Oh no worries, I'm just happy to hear you're not hurt, the crowds in here are crazy. I know it's the start of term but I doubt this place is going to run out of books anytime soon." He let out a quick laugh at this statement, who'd have thought he'd be the reasonable one about going crazy in the bookstore?

"Here"He reached into his pocket and pulled out a few pieces of white chocolate still in the wrapper which he held out to her."I know you said you're fine, but something sweet always helps me feel better if something bad's just happened."

"It's really nice to meet you Min-seo, my name's Sebastian Boyd." He paused for a moment, his face lighting up"Hey since we're buying the same books does that mean you're going to be a first year at Hogwarts like me? Or are you going to another wizarding school? I've been looking forward to this since December last year when I received my invitation, and now it's finally happening, I can't believe it."
