This reserved little boy stands at 4'8" or 144 cm tall. Due to his paternally inherited albinism, his silky hair has turned white while his eyes are a light shade of grey that appear strikingly pale or nearly white under certain lighting conditions. For a boy of his age, his body is quite lean & fit. His skin is pale but matches wonderfully with his delicate features. To some, he may be seen as a bit feminine but there is no doubt that he'll grow up to be fairly or... considerably good looking in a unique way.

Around others, he usually likes to wear a casual but aloof 'mask' as he doesn't like to attract unwanted attention from the wrong sorts of people. Around his family & friends however, he appears to be easy going and is usually the most sociable one there. He strives to live a carefree life, but fate tends to throw all sorts of things at him.

He is quite academically dedicated for a boy his age, but he isn't above having fun himself, even causing 'some' trouble in the process... While he is a bit 'spirited' at times, he makes sure to comply with the rules and is seen as a studious pupil.

In line with his scholarly tendencies, he can be a bit pragmatic and logically driven when there is something to gain for himself. He can be especially cold to those who like to look down on him without grounds for doing so. He can tend to be a bit... spiteful & scheming as well, specifically towards those he has written off for a bit of... payback.

In his childhood, he was excluded & picked on by other children due to his 'odd' appearance caused by his paternally inherited traits as well as his quiet & shy demeanor.

As a result of this, he developed a deep dislike for being looked down upon. Thus, developing a thirst to prove himself which led to his competitiveness & pragmaticism. He seeks power to prove those who mocked him wrong and treats knowledge as a means to that end.

Despite his cold & pragmatic exterior, he is kind & warm on the inside, especially towards those he cherishes dearly, even to the point that he is willing to sacrifice the things he values highly for them. He considers some things to be more important than others in life.

Whether it be due to his childhood trauma or just sheer curiosity, he would occasionally help out or befriend individuals he deems 'genuine'. It can be said that he empathizes with these individuals or that he just... wants to. Nox believes the strong should help the weak while healthily maintaining a humble but prideful attitude.

Nox mostly grew up in a muggle household. His muggle father (Anthony) was quite educated and had a job as a Software Engineer. His witching mother (Eliza) was quite bright and... learnt in that wizarding sort of sense. He has an 8 year old sister named Ilya who he dotes on very much.

Nox cherishes his family quite a lot as they've always encouraged him to chase after his positive aspirations. They do however, hold a certain concern over his selfish & pragmatic tendencies but have thrown it to the back of their minds due to his resolve to always stay true to his morals, no matter if they are a bit... self serving at times.

As a lot of muggles from this modern age do, Nox used to enjoy playing various computer games in his free time.

His mother always encouraged him to read ever since he was three and a half years old. Because of this, he developed a love for books. He especially loved reading fictional novels, becoming quite fascinated with the idea of magic after his mother introduced him down this very specific rabbit hole. We now know why she did that...

His sister meanwhile, has always been a source of joy for Nox. She always used to follow him around, trying to mimic what he did and so on. He will always look back at those times with a smile, maybe even let out a few chuckles to indulge himself.

He was always encouraged by his parents to pursue his dreams & aspirations. This led to a quite a level of dedication to learning for a boy his age. While he is dedicated, he isn't above having quite a bit of fun himself... even if it causes a bit of trouble in the process.

Due to this encouragement, he always looked up to his father and would have liked to follow in his footsteps. He liked sitting with his father and watching him work various things around the house. This was a very fond memory of his.

What Nox did not know however, was that his plans to follow in his father's footsteps would be scrapped soon enough...

At the age of 8, he was cornered by a group of popular kids at his muggle school's courtyard. They routinely liked to pick on anyone they deemed 'odd' or 'strange'. This nearly escalated into a physical fight.

Due to his deep & long standing dislike of these sorts of people, his emotions suddenly flared with quiet fury. Unbeknownst to him, his raw magic accidently resonated with his anger, making the temperature drop to chillingly cold levels. His eyes radiated cold, chilling intent as if sharpened into daggers. Coldness spread through the air making the environment radiate an eerie aura in the middle of summer.

The fight ended before it even began with the boys fleeing out of fear and Nox quietly cackling to himself. The boys didn't even dare report him to the school's adults after that little incident, too scared of what he may do... and for good reason he might add.

This uncontrolled instance of magic was shortly detected by the Ministry of Magic and delegates were sent to do clean up. The muggle children who were involved had their memories wiped & altered accordingly.

After this fiasco, his mother was informed and had to bring this to his father's attention, thereby revealing the secret of her being a witch to the 3 of them. Nox was very shocked & excited at the same time once this came to light, especially after hearing about Hogwarts. Ilya on the other hand, was very confused saying that her mother was lying. She eventually believed it though, after her mother made the couch the 3 were sitting on float using the levitation spell.

As for Nox's father, he was a bit shocked, having a momentary 'existential crisis' only to snap out of it, realizing that this shouldn't and wouldn't get in the way of their love. He proceeded to drone on about how lovely & unique his wife was saying that she 'always had a certain charm to her'...
