𝕴t had been nearly a week since Esther arrived on the train to Ilvermorny and she was really hopeful that it would be an amazing year.


She remembered the sorting and how the thunderbird's wings had flapped, which meant she had been selected in that house. She had always wanted to be there as it was the very same one as her father. Unfortunately, this meant being separated from her cousin Beatrice, as she had been sorted into Horned Serpent. As a matter of fact, ever since the sorting, she had not seen her at all or her pink pygmy puff Bonnie who always rode on Bea's shoulder. Everyday she hoped to see a hint of pink fluff. But she was still unsuccessful. Beatrice did have a lot of friends so she was possibly always with them.


Esther had signed up for Quidditch in order to give herself something to do. Even though Quodpot was more played in America, Quidditch was also just as fun, she felt. Her classes had been going great, especially Herbology. But there was something about Transfiguration that didn't seem to be understood by the young girl. How in the world can you conjure something from nowhere? Or make something vanish completely?
