For the love of god.
If you ever told Alex he'll be standing in front of this mentally draining shop to buy another school supply, he would've laugh right in your face.

Well, he's here now. What to complain?
"Come on, don't be shy. Go on. We can wait outside." Alex's mother, Eliz, speaks as she gently squeeze his shoulder with excitement in her voice. "Do i have to? It hurt my eyes just to see it from here." Alex sigh, raise a hand to his collar to smooth the edge with his finger. He often did it whenever he's already overstimulated. His father, Joseph, notice it right away.

"If you'd like, we can accompany you inside. I'd want to see the inside of it." Joseph reassure as he's the first to walk into the shop first, opening the door for the both of his love ones. "Why thank you, mister." Eliz tease with a single nod.

"Huge welcome, beautiful lady." Joseph went along with a polite bow while Alex mentally rolling his eyes at their moment.

!

"Oh there's still Amortentia!" Eliz speak from her space, inspecting the vial in her hand before she gently put it back again. Alex just glance to her mother before walking further into the shop while looking at the list in his hand.

' Remembrall'

'Ah, only one item. I can do this.' He thinks to himself before eyes darting around the shop, 'is the thing small or- ah.' a sphere looking 'ball' static on one of a shelf with the remembrall sign and Alex let out a soft sigh of relief. He walks to the shelf, picking up the ball in his hand and make his way to the counter before his eyes catch on an item.

"Ah that's a fake slip to Hogsmeade. I love the place." Eliz speak from beside Alex, spawning out of nowhere, which Alex has grown to get used to it. "Why the fake slip? Can't they just go?" Now it's his turn to ask as he look at the slip. "Thing here is sweetheart, you need to wait until your third year to go to Hogsmeade." Eliz chuckle as she walk away to find her husband looking around the place like a kid on Christmas morning. Alex only watch from the place he's standing before glancing back to the fake slip.

It's tempting.

He could feel himself glaring at the fake slip, thinking about his mother's word about the place. It must've been a great place to be if his mother said so. Alex sure is a patient boy, he could wait calmly but there's something about the place that makes him act this way. He takes one of the fake slip before finally walking to the counter to pay for the supplies. The plan for the place is for another day.

" The lesson of history is that no one learns. "
