 Anthamasia is a difficult but brillaint child, one who is cunning and hardworking, she is also honest and straightforward. However, because of that honesty, she can be also honest to a fault. Sometime insesitive when it comes to her peers. Not afraid to speak her mind she often seems rude to other. She twists peoples words and manipulate others to do as she pleases. Especially when she thinks that person is being inefficaent or “dumb”. A smart child with a difficult personality which makes friends hard to come by. On the surface, Anthamasia seems to float through the world uncaring of most things, engading in debats with others when she feels like it. Looking for entertainment in the shape of others. If she doesn’t find it, she’ll make it herself. |

x |  Under the surface Anthamasia is often rather emotionless and bored. She has a racing mind that often quicky bounces from one subject to another when the prior is no longer “fun”. This often leads to her rather lackadaisical attitude, leading to bouts of listelessness. Self-aware of her faults and problems, Anthamasia tries her best to ensure she does not spiral too far into these states. Often filling her limited time outside of obligations with a myriad of hobbies and oppertunities. Assigning herself extra work at times to ensure her mind is properly engaged. Despite her rather rough personality, Anthamasia tries her best to accommodate others, understanding she is not the easiest to get along with. She tends to leave people alone after they communicate their dislike. |

She believes that peoples should be true to themselves, and by freeing oneself from the expectations of others one can be happier and more successful in life. Of course in practice this can seem rather arrogant and self-obsessed to others. But Anthamasia has made it a point to ignore what others think of her if it doesn’t benefit her. |

 The Penka Family of Russia was once a great family of potent Seers, so potent that they say to be born a Penka Seer is a curse.  The family hails mainly from the Siberia and are descendants of the Altay People of the Altai Krai Region, Russia. Although the family can trace it’s linage back to the 1200s during the Mongol Empire when most of the region conisited of Nomatic tribes. The name ‘Penka” did not see proper use until the 1400s, to strengthen the family in the turbulant periods during the Northern Yuan’s rule. During the 1500s the family sought to make connections to other pureblood families in western europe by way of arranged marriages. They also had a secondary goal, to hopefully rid themselves of the family ‘curse’ and marry off all potential seers. In the end they secured three alliances that still hold amicable relations to this day, The Beddoes (Ims & Desjardins are connected via the Heiress; Atreus Desjardins), the Popovs, and the Arcaris. They were mostly succesful with the last Penka Seer being born in 1910. Through out history the Penka have maintained power and prestige though merchant deals and political deals. Perfering to keep their families afloat rather than lobbying for immense power and political gain. A notable detail of the family is that since the late 1800s around 90% of the family heads were women.  |
x |  Anthamasia was born to Svetlana and Vasily Penka on Febuary 14th , 2014 in Alexandrovsky, Aleysky District, Altai Krai, Russia. She was raised in a rather large and sprawling family, always under their watchful eyes. The family brought her up communally instead of just having her mother and father raise her. This allowed the couple to maintain their duites to the family rather than focusing all their attention on Anthmasia. This suited the child quite well, allowing her the freedom to do mostly as she pleased. Her days were often filled with parties and lessons, learning how to interact with her fellow peers while representing the family. While also learning skills to help take over the family bussiness when she was older and prepping for her eventual tutelage at Durmstrang.  Her schooling was decided from the moment she was born, so long as her first instance of magic did not take place outside of Durmstrang’s area. She would attend the school instead of Koldovstoretz. In fact her family made the point to keep her in the country until her first instance of magic happend. After that they finally let her attend international vactions and gatherings. Some thing that both pleased and displeased Anthamasia; pleased that she was allowed more freedom to explore new places, and displeasure at the fact she had to attend more parties. Overall Anthamasia’s childhood was one of a typical pureblood upbringing, one filled with socialization and lessons. Although perhaps there was one diffrence compared to most children; divination. See due to the families past experience with Seers they place heavy importance on the subject of divination. While the last seer was born hundreds of years ago and there seems to be no chance of one being born again in the family. The tradition of teaching Penka children Divination stays within the family Which luckily greatly intrested Anthamasia. x  Anthamasia is the eldest of three. Artem, her only brother, is the second eldest and is 8 years old. Aleksandra, her only sister, is yougest an is 1 year old. While the family still communally raises the children, for Artems’ and Aleksandras’ births it was different. Svetlana took an more promidenat role in raising them compared to anthamasia, specifially after their births. After which Svetlana directed Anthamasia to look after her siblings, stating that she wished for them to become closer. Many in the family believe this was a mistake. Rather than ‘close’ the children seem to have taken this request as a demand instead, and remained distant instead. Uniting in public but not showing much interest in each other behind closed doors. At least this is how it appears on the surface. Because of this it is common for Anthamasia to trail after her younger siblings like a watchful wraith. Often drawing peoples attention to her “dearest” siblings. |
 Anthamasia’s first acidental magic was not the most happiest of moments for her at the time. Although now she looks back on it and laughs, for her back then it had been rather scary. You see when children are given mostly unlimited reign on a large house to run around as they please, you should make sure the house is child proof. Which the Penka’s did, however the tenacity of children should not be underestimated. Anthamasia had acidently locked herself in a wardrobe, alarming but it was not being trapped that scared her. It was being trapped in a dark space that scared her. Causing her magic to react to the dark space by lighting it up. Luckily, the light shinning from under the door allowed her family members to eventually find her. Where they then celebrated her first instance of magic, to her chagrin. x |

 Anthamasia is quite tall for a gril her age, but not lacky like other children still growing in their bodies. At times she bemoans her height as it makes shopping difficult. She has light blue eyes, some say they are like crystals. But she’d rather have darker eyes, as the sun tends to hurt them. With her pale skin, she also tends to burn, more often than not the sun is her enemy. She inherited her auburn hair from her mother, a staple in the Penka family. She tends to wear it down, deciding not to fuss with wrangling her waves into an updo. Though sometimes she’ll decided to tie it up half way just to keep it out of her face. |

 Anthamasia’s styles tends towards more mature styles than the norm for children. Silk button ups & blouses, borcade balzers & vests, slacks and oxfords. Her wardrobe seems more like the clothing of a rich CEO than a young child. She will often accessorize with gold or pearl jewerly and silk scarves or ties. Rich jewel tones and dark neutrals tend to dominate her wardrobe, however creams and whites can still be seen on occasion but tend to be avoided. When it comes to galas & balls Anthamasia tends to dress in structured silk gowns inspired by the late 1800s and ealry 1900s. |
 When it comes to heirlooms Anthamasia technically has access to many in the Penka vault. However, Anthamasia tends to only wear them during galas and balls, or the occasional fundraiser. She never wears heirlooms at school, the only one she wears is her personal seal ring on a necklace under her shirts. Unlike her overenthusiastic allies in the Beddoes, her family does not tend to drape their heirs in their “marks” unless needed. Her existance is statement enough in their eyes. The heirlooms she tends to wear to the proper events tend to be from a gold and citrine grande parure she inherited from her great aunt after her 5th birthday. It consits of a Kokoshnik Tiara, 1 hair comb, 1 large necklace, a pair of earrings, 2 matching bracelets, 1 ring, 2 brooches, 2 stomacher brooches, and 4 Aigrettes. |

 A pawn, Alexios at times is the epitome of what Anthamasia despises in a person. Perhaps if he spent less time planning and calculating how he could use someone to climb up the social ranks, she’d admire his determination. However she knows that he will never abandon the so called “duty” he has given himself. Anthamasia wonders if one day he’ll hold too tight to his asperations and choke on them. Or perhaps be shall be crushed under the foot of all those he panders too. She really wished she’s stop running into this rather annoying Hellhound.
