"The Toaster" The most alarming feature is the timing mechanism. The box relies on an internal clockwork spring, when the time is done the breads pop up using springs, meaning that the timer has expired.

As a muggle myself, never did I expect to be writing an article about an object that I myself use. The object I am talking about is known as a toaster a muggle object used for preparing bread for breakfast. At Hogwarts I barely get to use them anymore, but at home it was a frequent use for me. Well not exactly used by me cause I always had people prepare my meals for me. Muggles such as I, use this object to deliberately scorch and harden bread with heat wires on the inside to make the bread into a form known as toast. With a system called "electricity" my fellow muggles trap lighting in wires to achieve that heat.

Despite all the interesting things about this object, there are still some rules and regulations that everyone still has to follow to avoid getting harmed. Under no circumstances should a wizard insert a metal utensil into any of the two slots of the toaster while its on. Doing so will channel an electric shock fatal enough to kill. Avoid water getting on the internal parts of the toaster as water is a conductor of electricity, if you wish to clean it make sure it is off and use a dry cloth to do so.

As I mention before, the toaster uses intense heat to scorch the bread, which means it is highly flammable. Keep the toaster away from parchment, books, scrolls, quills, long robes, and any other flammable objects while it is powered, to avoid fires and/or explosions. An explosion would be caused if the wires inside of the toaster where to also catch on fire.

In some toasters, there is a catcher at the bottom, used to catch burnt pieces of toast. This catcher must be emptied regularly to avoid the build up of debris, dirt and charcoal. If it is not cleaned as it is supposed to be, charcoal will build up near the wires that heat up the bread, and this puts the person using it in danger, as it could cause a fire or a fatal explosion.
