A Rebellion? Or Freedom?
Steam curls around the train like a mysterious veil, students already finding compartments to settle in. Lily adjusts her scarf and with one last hug and goodbye to her father, she boards the train. Trunk in hand, she walks down the hallway of compartments. Some are already full, chattering and the occasional rattle as the train gets ready to leave. Finally, Lily finds an empty compartment, Perfect. She loads her trunk up, glancing around the compartment, nearly falling over as the train jerks as it starts up.

Lily takes the seat next to the window after putting her trunk away. Just in time as the train leaves the station and takes its journey to Hogwarts. It was quiet, fortunately. Except for the occasional excited chatter from other compartments. It's a new chapter, no more strict schedules, just magic, and learning. A castle, instead of the boring white walls of the mansion. But she'll admit, the nerves of being away from home are starting to creep up. Will I be ok?

Was it rebellious? To go against her mother's decisions? Maybe. But she didn't stop her daughter. "I promise to show them my best...make them proud, show them...." Lily kept repeating to herself. She kept glancing at the compartment door, wondering if anyone would join her. Please....I don't want company right now...
