Arriving at hogwarts

My first day arriving at hogwarts was not what I expected. Walking in Kings cross is a bit confusing. I had my dad with me so it was more comfortable. My dad had taught me how to get to platform 9 and three quarters it was that you had to go in-between platform 9 and 10. When me and my dad went through I saw a train that said Hogwarts express with 4 numbers on the bottom that said 5972. I don't know what the numbers mean, but I knew that I was on the right train (because it said Hogwarts express). When I got near the train someone took my luggage to store on the train. I got on the train and found a compartment with three people in it so I asked if I could sit with you. They said yes and made room for me. I Said that I am going to get sorted. The other people said that they were already sorted. They all had Ravenclaw robes on. The robes were blue and black. I hoped that I would be in hufflepuff because I am hardworking. I have met many people that I will probably be friends with.
