Clark walked through the halls of Hogwarts, gripping the strap of his messenger back thightly, that rested heavily on his shoulder, containing some parchments, ink, a feather and his textbooks. Being prepared for today‘s study session in his favourite place to be: The Library.
As he reached the big and heavy doors that marked the entrance to the Library, Clark pushed the doors open, and was met with the smell of old parchment and ink. A great combination in his opinion. Probably the greatest out there! And the library itself embraced him with the calm atmosphere he got used to after his many visits. Candlelight reflected faintly against the dark shelves, he was now surrounded by.
Clark strode through the aisles on the look for a fitting spot to settle down and study. But today he wouldn‘t be alone. He was getting accompanied by Avery Abernathy. A fellow Gryffindor, and also a first year. They both sat next to each other in Class this week, and decided to have a small study session on the weekend, wanting to brainstorm about given homework, and the classes in particular.
After finding a good and cozy looking place at a long, wooden table, surrounded by numerous shelves, Clark set down his bag on a chair beside him and began to unpack it‘s contains, and sorted them neatly on the table infront of him. The silver rings he was wearing clicked softly together as he adjusted the things on the table, and pulling up his sleeves. When being finished with his organisation, he pulled out a chair for himself and settled down.
For a moment Clark just simply sat there taking in his surroundings, and the quiet that settled around him, before opening one of his textbooks, turning a few pages, while letting his eyes drift towards the big doors, waiting for them to be opened, and announce the coming of his awaited study buddy.
