Name Name| MENTIONINGWould Jun Mayumi Mochizuki consider herself as someone who got bored by her own company? Absolutely not. Today however, the young Ravenclaw somehow had gotten bored after finishing up some homework for the next week and writing a letter to her Mother. Reina Mochizuki had been owling her daughter unusually often, which led Jun to the conclusion her mother was finding herself similarly bored. Or maybe a bit lonely.
After finishing up her assignments this morning, Jun had made it a point to take a walk on the rainy grounds of Hogwarts, which led her to pass by the Great Lake. There she had sat for a little while and journaled as well as just stared out on the water and enjoyed the air. Then lunch had came, where Jun had found herself listening embarrassingly long to two first years arguing about what they needed to write about in their potions assignment. Since that had done no good in easing her boredom, she had decided to grab her satchel from her dorm and pass by the library.
The young Ravenclaw found herself trailing down the flight of stairs in no hurry, which was quite unusual for Jun. Her steps were fast and precise, purposeful. At least on any other day.
At her arrival in the library, she trailed through the shelves, fingers brushing against book spines. Jun liked the library. It was mostly a place of quiet, a place that felt like solitude and peace. When Jun found herself in the Divination section, she looked around until she found a book she actually recognized: The Predictions of Tycho Dodonus. She remembered seeing that in her Mothers office.
Since Jun did plan on taking Divination next year, she reached for the book with a little sigh of hoping this might ease some boredom. Her fingers wrapped around the spine and then she found an empty spot in the library, which wasn’t hard on a Sunday afternoon.
As far as she knew, The Predictions of Tycho Dodonus was mostly about poetic prophecies that may or may not have happened already. So with her legs slung over one another, her elbow rested on the table, the young Ravenclaw flipped open the first page and began reading.

Lunch was over. Amalie went to her dorm, changed into a comfy outfit and made her way towards the library with a pile of parchment to do her homework and a storybook to read when she was done. The library was less crowded than usual and the calming atmosphere was occasionally disturbed by the scribbling of quills on parchment and the rustling sound of pages turning.
Amalie chose a comfortable seat and set down all her books. She quietly completed her assignments, focusing on them so she could relax for the rest of the day. When she was done, she settled in an armchair with the storybook in her hand. As she flipped through the pages of her book absentmindedly, she felt distracted and her attention drifted every now and then, her eyes darting around the library.
It was then she noticed the girl in the seat opposite to her. The girl looked older than Amalie, likely a second year. Amalie didn't know her very well, except that she was a Ravenclaw. She sat quietly with a book in hand, seemingly entirely absorbed in it. Amalie's gaze lingered on the cover, studying the title. The Predictions of Tycho Dodonus. Oh, Divination. Amalie had heard Adrian ranting enough about the subject to know it involved tea leaves and cryptic predictions dramatic enough to make one think they might meet a most horrifying death every other week.
Amalie looked back down at her own book for a moment before curiosity eventually got the better of her. "Is it actually interesting?" she asked, her voice quiet enough not to disturb the peaceful atmosphere.
I don’t need your approval. I’ll take your respect instead.

Name Name| MENTIONINGThe rain was gently tapping against the window, the only other sound the soft rustling of parchment, scribbling quills and book pages being turned. The scent of old books and ink filled the air and the pages, of the book she was reading, felt a bit worn underneath the Ravenclaw‘s fingertips. Like the book had been read many times over the years, which was quite possible with the amount of Students attending each year. There was also no telling of how long this particular book had stood in the shelves and how many hands had held it.
After a while of simply sitting there and reading, Jun noticed someone moving closer, out of the corner of her eye. It was a girl, dressed in a Slytherin jumper and dark trousers. Her hair was a brownish color and she had face framing bangs, with stormy grey-blue eyes that seemed entirely focused on the storybook she had in her hands. The second year couldn’t quite recognize which book it was, neither who this girl was. A first year, most likely.
Jun averted her gaze once again, focusing back on her book. She did not care that much for others to continue analyzing what book the other girl could possibly be reading.
When a quiet voice appeared, Jun was not sure whether the question had been directed at her. Her brown eyes flickered up to gaze back at the unfamiliar girl, sitting in the armchair across from her. It was rather unusual for her to be spoken to without particular reason, though the reason was perhaps the book she was reading, as the brunette Slytherin seemed to be curious about The Predictions of Tycho Dodonus. Jun cleared her throat slightly and then nodded.
„If you enjoy Predictions of the possible Future - that may have already happened - and topics of Divination, then yes, you might find it interesting.“
The young Ravenclaw replied, calmly so. Her gaze flickered back to the book in the Slytherins had, which was presumably a storybook. Though, one might never know, as a book could hold far more than what was portrayed on its cover.
„Is yours any good?“
Jun asked, simply out of politeness, but perhaps also due to the slight twinge of curiosity prickling through her fingers.
