It was already a few months passing by and yet she could already find herself trying to juggle three subjects that were having a test or a finals test to see if we ever payed attention at all for the rest of the classes since September. Angel took a deep breath which was very deep it made her wheeze a bit due to the pressure and effort she took to calm down. With a gloomy day right now Angel could only sit and continue studying and completing her homework that was assigned by Professors who most definitely expected an eleven year old to write like a renowned author. Nevertheless she persevered and kept writing. Well almost? Angel could not focus not even once.
Studying was not something she detested but if she ever burns out she would if not most likely need a well needed break. It could not be more further from the truth when having to move her body to get another book for a study sheet that will be useful for short notes. Pushing her chair aside making a mark on the wooden floors she went towards the sections of the library for The History of Magic, that class scared her due to how unhinged it can be in there the teacher especially well for her but anyone can differ.
She can see countless students rushing to their wits end. Angel laughed slightly only slightly. It was amusing to see students trying to catch up on work or revise for studying. The Slytherin was naturally studious and never really drifted from her own studies at all. Though it was quite tempting to skip Flying Class, she hated heights, though she knew her potential to pass the class anyway.
Her family was known for having smarts and high grades in education. Angel was surpassing the expectations and extending in plenty of the subjects here at the castle. Even back at Wales, though her relatives preferred her to be in a private, no correction a prestigious school, her parents wanted her to be like the rest of the children and attended public school instead. One can not be too meticulous. Oh Caerphilly the sights were marvellous and very scenic. Angel reminisced the times she went to her gardens and grabbed fruits and vegetables for her dishes.
The lass was seen under the morning light shaded in a satin curtain that fitted her well. Her beauty was unlike no other and was considered uncanny. Too perfect. But Angel was one who is confident and blunt, she doesn't mind on what others think, unless the moment passed too long. Remarked for her wits and being well classed and presented, Angel was a girl who is most likely uptown. A classy girl who is unbothered and a bold presence.
Whispers and murmurs can be heard all across the library. Who was this girl? Had they seen her before? For someone so mysterious and carrying a hefty name, no one knew her. They all could not place a finger on it. This girl, a presence yes, and one who prefers solitude, yet not closed off, confident and a speaker. Intricate and perplexing. One student decided to point out. Her family was not under the radar after all.
"Is she not Ms.Dayes? Angel Colette Dayes?" one piqued
"No wait, it is her! In the flesh! The Dayes family certainly knows how to cook up an entrance." one replied
They ran off, scared at the very thought. Angel chuckled, leaned and looked over. A Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. Two distinct houses. Both interested in her being here. She shook her head. She was all for impressions, but what she gathered was people were intimidated by her. Was she an ice queen? Hopefully not, that would not be great under her name, it would make others fearful.
As the time flows briskly like the high tides Angel sang a wistful tune, she was musically inclined.
She tied her hair to a sleek bun once again, her bangs flowing freely under the crispy spring air. She grabbed her pen and continued to write in shorthand. Angel knew many types of handwriting, to cursive to print, and much more. Her mother wanted her to make sure she knew how to write neatly. Cursive was her favourite — would always write in cursive. It was her signature. Her head tilted high and her posture straightened. She chews another red lollipop.
