Lucian’s father Wilson, was a muggle born, though he was later adopted by a powerful pure blood family because they wanted to give him a proper magical guidance. His adoptive father owned several companies and also had a biological son of his own,Wilson’s brother.
In an effort to expand their influence, a notorious mob family arranged a business deal through marriage. Wilson was forced to marry their only daughter, Clarah. It was never a love bond but a transaction meant to strengthen both families.

After the wedding, Wilson moved out, and shortly after, Lucian was born. The household was anything but peaceful. Constant arguments and debates filled the space. and even as a child, Lucian could feel that something was deeply wrong. Their relationship never felt right to him.

Clarah, in particular, begun to dislike Lucian. To her, he was a constant reminder of Wilson and the life she never wanted. Over time, her cold and toxic behaviour slowly worn Lucian down.

Eventually, Clarah remarried another man and left Lucian behind without a hesitation.

When Wilson later found out that Lucian had magical abilities, he made a pretty difficult decision wanting his son to grow up in a place where he would be understood so he sent Lucian to live with his brother’s pure blood family.

There, Lucian finally found a sense of belonging, and it was also where he met his cousin and also his dear friend, Marcella Di Angelo

Still, he never completely left his old life behind. Lucian often returns to visit his father during school holidays.

On a random Tuesday, at just eight years old, he stood trembling with fury as his mom screamed at him. He tried his best not to freak out even as her anger pressed in on him.

When she raised her hand to strike him, something in him snapped.

“SILENCE FROM YOU… MOM!”

He shouted over her, his voice shaking with fear. He thrust his hands forward, pure instinct, wild and uncontrolled.

Her throat froze.

Her voice cut off instantly, as if the sound itself had been taken from her.

From that day on, she lost her voice
