Laverne had just arrived once more to Diagon Alley. Last time she came with her parents. This time she wanted to come alone, she wanted to try and meet someone from Hogwarts. She had decided to go to the Gringotts Wizarding Bank, to get some money for Hogwarts. She heard there were candies on the train. She took about 15 galleons and 10 sickles.
When she stepped out she saw a new shop. Will it hurt to spend just a bit? she thought. She headed inside and saw there was only a boy and a woman inside the shop. She smiled at him and took a new pair of robes and headed out. Next she decided to check the broomstick shop. She headed inside and saw the newest models. Once I will buy these. When I start playing Quidditch. she thought. Then she again saw the same boy she saw in the shop. He looked confused, looking at the broomsticks. Is he a muggleborn? Wow I should go and talk. But then again would he feel offended... I don't mean to do that. Maybe I'll see him in Hogwarts. Laverne shopped some more, but she saw the boy every shop she went in.
Maybe I should say hi... She walks up to him. Hey, my name's Laverne Taylor. What about you?

River had spent the day in this weird hidden alley in London. Being a native to London, he knew every inch. How he missed an entire alley with such weird stuff. He loved weird stuff.
His aunt had disappeared, saying she was going to find food. She had told him to stay put on a bench, so he walked around.
He found himself back at the Broom shop, still confused why everyone was drooling over them. He went inside, and looked around. Getting more and more confused.
"This broom goes over a hundred fifty miles per hour? Who can sweep that fast?" he muttered. When he saw a girl looking at him. He smiled and waved, then saw his aunt outside of the window looking around. He quickly left to find her.
After a quick lunch, they decided to keep looking around. And found this blinding orange building with a statue of a man coming out of the walls. "Weasleys Wizard Wheezes?" he said. Then they went in not sure what they were about to see. They were acosted with noise and smells. One kid had a tounge about four feet long. Another was floating, and a girl was breathing fire. River and his Aunt looked at each other, a brief look of, "We might die." crossed between them.
They quickly lost time, hesitantly trying products only to end up holding their ribs from laughing to hard. River had ate a candy that made him roar like a lion. Aunt Jess ate one that made steam shoot from her ears. They lost each other again in the confusing maze of the store when that girl showed up again, he'd seen her at almost every store. This time she came up and said hi and introduced herself as Laverne Taylor.
"Hey," River smiled. "I'm River Grimes."
Then Aunt Jess returned with some pink ball of fur. "Oh River already have a girlfriend?" River went pink.

Laverne went to the shop, still thinking what had happened, Wait.. she stopped walking, even if the shop was in front of her. He doesn't know that owls are pets, he's a muggle born! Oops, she messed up bad. I hope he doesn't think that I made it up! When Laverne was getting the food her mom had asked for, and owl had come and started stilling on her hand and played with he. Hence, she had forgotten all about the meeting until she saw River again, he was walking down the alley. His aunt/mother wasn't with him. Should I go? She just stood there, thinking what to do. River! She waved at him as he looked at her, stunned to see the owl food in her hand.
Hey, sorry about earlier... I had to go since my mom told me to bring food for my pet owl Ivory. Again looking at his confused face Laverne understood he had no idea that owls can be kept as pets in the Wizarding World. Oh yeah! You have no idea that owls are pets! Here see! Laverne takes out her diary and flips the pages, searching for the pages which include Ivory's photos. Aha! Here! She shows him all the photos. If you want I can show you the shop where we get these, and on the way also tell you all about the things you find confusing! Laverne waited for him to answer.
