I knew I was going to need money for books and things. The school had sent a supply list with my welcome letter. We took the floo network to Diagon Alley. I had never seen the alley, but my parents have been here several times. There was so much to look at I thought my neck would do a full 360* trying to see all the things. We started at Gringotts Wizarding Bank. As we walked into the humungous lobby, I stopped and looked around. I asked my mother what the creatures at the counters were. "Those are goblins. Very clever and very dangerous." mom told me. I hoped never to have to deal with them other then at Gringotts. He called for a trolly and off we zoomed! It was the wildest roller coaster type ride I had ever been on. Once we got to the vault #722 my dad handed him the key and made us step back. "Ya never know if something got in but couldn't get out." he explained to me. I peaked around them when the goblin opened the door. My jaw hit the floor! There was gold coins, huge jewels and lots of art work and other valuables in there. My father gathered up some coins and off we went back up the trolley to get my supplies. What a great adventure so far.
