Caroline, filled to the brim with fascination, was walking down the shining streets of Diagon Alley with her squib father John and muggle mother Amy. They "oohed" and "ahhed" at every little thing.Then they reached the huge, marble building known as Gringotts. They walked inside and were overcome with amazement. Amy nearly fainted and John just offered a weak smile to Caroline. They started up the white hall to the goblin on their right. The goblin peered down at them and asked,"How may I help you?". Caroline stepped up in front of her parents and replied,"I would like to do an exchange, regular money for wizarding money.". the goblin looked offended at her choice of words. "What do you mean 'regular money'?". Caroline once again looked him dead in the eye and told him,"Muggle money or whatever you call it". The goblin immediately understood. he motioned to follow him. he oped an old wooden drawer and pulled out 3 golden Galleons. Caroline handed over her muggle money which added up to £15. Then, feeling excited at what she should buy first, she walked out of Gringotts...her parents dragging behind her fast motionless struts. She thought to herself, "I just put a goblin in his place".
