Platform 9 3/4
Aldric was about to explode. With happiness, of course. It was his start at Hogwarts! He couldn't believe he was in the famous King's Cross Station. This train would lead him to Hogsmeade. From there, carriages (pulled by thestrals!) would take them to Hogwarts.
His thoughts were interrupted by his brothers playful shove. His parents were waiting for him to go through the wall. He looked up at the numbers 9 and 10. Then he looked in the middle where 9 ¾ was. He had gone through it before to say bye to his sister and brother, but this time felt... different. This time he would be going for real. He started running, then he felt a cool tingling sensation. When he reopened his eyes, he and his cart had gone into the wall and out the other side. The platform was gently curved, and bright. the sun was shining through the glass panels. He laughed a little as his cart screeched.

“Of course mom” he replied. He looked over at his dad who was smiling proudly.“Honey remember to write” His mother called.
Aldric smiled and waved goodbye and he boarded the express. He was startled when it started moving and waved one last time at his parents and younger sister. Then he headed Inside to find his seats.“You'll make us proud,” his father announced
