After a long day of shopping, Aldric was exhausted. He had seen so much today, And he just wanted to go home. That was, until he noticed an Ice cream parlor just a little up on the way. It had gold trim and bright green letters reading: “Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor”. He begged his parents for a sweet treat after the long day, and they agreed.

As soon as they walked in they were met by a cool sweet scent flowing around. The shop was bright and welcoming, with small round tables, bright cushioned chairs, and bright enchanted windows. There was soft music in the background of the shop, and they saw a menue on the wall with many flavors. He was still looking at the menue when his parents and his sibling already orderd. He walked up and unknowing what to say, asked for vanilla ice cream.

“Would you like a cone?” the worker cheerfully asked

“Yes, ”Aldric replied. He loved ice cream, but he didn't understand people who didn't get a cone! how can you eat without a cone? Anyway, the ice cream arrived fast and he gratefully ate it all. Now all he had to do was wait for tomorrow, when he could ride the Hogwarts express, and go to his first day at Hogwarts.
