Rosie was having a pretty good day. She had just come from class, and she was heading to another. She was going through the Corridors, on her way, when she dropped her bag.
"Oops!" she said quietly, noticing the bag she'd dropped. She bent down to pick it up, being careful so she didn't bump into any other students, and nobody bumped into her. As she was standing up, she saw a portrait. It was quite pretty, of a woman in a cottage. It looked to be relatively old-timey, and quite gorgeous.
Then, she saw what had always fascinated her, from the moment she'd first gotten to school. The woman in the painting was moving, something that she still wasn't quite used to. Growing up in the Muggle world, she'd never seen a moving picture that wasn't a movie or something of the sort.
She stood there for a minute, just admiring the look of the painting, and the way that the movement looked. There were many things at Hogwarts, a school full of magic, that she was still trying to get accustomed to. She enjoyed discovering all of the new things that she wasn't used to, and thought of it as almost an adventure, learning brand new things about this world that she apparently belonged to.
