Her Four Brothers; David, Ben, Mason and Evan, however were all still at Hogwarts, Evan was in his final year and Head Boy, Mason was not far behind in his 5th, and the two younger boys were in their 3rd and 4th years. Fay's parents Abbey and Albert Drummond, run the family owned business; The Dublin's Drummond Potion Masters, the business stores equipment, ingredients, potion books, and provides potion courses ranging from the beginner to the advanced potion artist. Fay's family live just outside of Dublin in the countryside.

First Magic experience; Fay as a seven year old was outside amongst the herb garden, collecting ingredients with her Mother for potions, however the vanilla plant was not ready to be picked. Fay remembers thinking grow, and the plant did just that, but she had no idea how it happened it just did. When Fay showed her mother she was amazed!
Gifts; Fay is only just starting at Hogwarts she is not sure what she will be gifted at, but she suspects she will be talented in the art of Potion making. Her Wand is suitable to divination and legilimency, she wonders if these will be area's for talent too.
RPG: Fay's Father had left for work; that is Albert was heading to the business workshop to teach advanced lessons, as the Professor hired by Mrs Drummond had fallen ill. Fay's Mother on the other hand was experimenting on her latest potion creation, an antidote for all common poisonous bites. Mrs Drummond had already the backing of sponsors for the potion, and if she could have a successful brew, trials would begin as early as next week, on mild non-fatal poisonous bites. Fay was watching her Mother attentively, as she brewed the potion, whilst writing down the list of ingredients and the instructions for the brew, her other siblings, that was her four brothers were probably playing Quidditch. Fay looked at the potion, it was a nice blue, but her Mother was frowning, then rummaged through the herbs cabinet. Fay was going to suggest a bezoar, when she noticed the owl tapping on the glass window, there were additional four owls in the distance. Fay opened the window, the owl landed on the kitchen table, the letter was from Hogwarts and addressed to Fay. She couldn't help squealing from excitement! Her brothers walked into the kitchen, everyone in the house was swooping over the letters, especially Fay's Mother.
Fay's parents had taken the annually work leave, to spend a couple of week's in london, including Diagon Alley, this was her parents break from work, whilst preparing everyone for school, unlike the previous occasions of watching her siblings collect their school gear from the sidelines, this year was Fay's turn. The books, potion ingredients, ink, quills and robes were no problem, but the wand was a different matter entirely, Fay knew all too much about wands, the wand makes the decision not the witch or wizard, first wand didn't exactly seem to like Fay, the 2nd wand was certainly not an improvement of the first, the 3rd, showed character every single wand and its casing was now on the floor, but finally the 4th wand seemed to be a match, at 31cm it was so long, she wasn't expecting this sort of wand, its handle was thick, and there were several raised notches, but the end of the wand was smooth. The wand was of phoenix feather and elder wood, suitable for those gifted in divination & legilimency. The shop owner realising Fay's disappointment reminded Fay, the wand selected you for a reason; have an open mind, at the same time her Mother, bursted into tears, saying "Oh how wonderful suitable for those gifted in divination and legilimency" Slightly embrassed Fay brushed her Mum off saying "Mum, it doesn't mean anything." They left the shop, it had been a very long day, her brothers had collected all their supplies with Fay's father, the family stayed at the leaky cauldron for the rest of the hoilday period, until it was time for Hogwarts.
Hogwarts; Train, Boat & Sorting Hat.
The family was rushed, but arrived at King's Cross on time, and crossed the barrier onto platform 9 3/4. Fay said a quick goodbye to her parents before boarding the train, she found a compartment away from her brothers, and sat down in an empty compartment. About fifteen minutes into the journey, Fay heard the compartment door open, another first year was standing at the entrance, "Sorry, can I sit with you?" Fay smiled and nodded. The two chatted away for the rest of the journey and laughed, discussing the Houses, Bella, Fay learnt was also from a wizarding background. The train pulled into Hogsmaede and the two girls left the train, and followed the group of first years to the boats at the lakes edge.
Fay would of found the boat journey across the lake amazing if it wasn't for the nerves forming in her stomach, what would her family think if she wasn't in Ravenclaw, she never did feel as smart as her silbings, but none the less she still felt she was rather switched on but also sensitive to others at the same time. Fay's nerves must of shown on her face, for Bella asked Fay if she was ok, she smiled weaky in response. As Fay's boat reach the other side of the lake, Fay stepped onto the shoreline, and made her way to Hogwarts, she was seeing the school for the first time, it looked rather pretty she thought.
As they reached the entrance hall, a Professor introduced herself, but Fay was hardly listening, her head was swimming in thoughts, concerns of the sorting, but the Professor finished the speech as quickly as it begun, and the students walked into the Great Hall, Fay's stomach turned for the worst, every other student was watching her and her fellow first years, somehow Fay noticed the floating candles. Fay reached the sorting hat, the hat suddenly jumped and the song began, Fay smiled.
You may think you know where you belong
Or you might be a little unsure
No matter I can sort you
Whether it be Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Or Ravenclaw
I'll sort you to which you belong
Your House will be your family
Here at Hogwarts
And I'm the sorting hat I always get it right.
Distracted after the song, Fay hardly noticed the houses other students were sorted into except for Bella, who went to Gryffindor, then Fay heard her own name. Fay Drummond! Step forward please, she did and sat down, she felt a hat being placed on her head. The hat was inside her head, asking questions, why did she need to answer whether she'd rather save her broom stick or her friends from a fire, the answer was obvious her friends, at that moment the hat SCREAMED SLYTHERIN! To Fay's horror, she stood there frozen briefly, before realising she must move, she reluctantly jogged to the applauding table, she sat down, shook hands with her class mates, her brothers she noticed were staring at her from across the hall, worst what would her parents think, how did the hat get it so wrong. Even with the news of being in Slytherin, Fay manged to enjoy the feast, however she was unsure about her house, history was not in favour of such a house. At the end of the feast, Fay felt rather tired, and made her way to the common room, following a Prefect, the first years entered the basement of the castle, Fay felt the chilly air, up ahead Fay could see a crowd of students, the entrance to the common room must be up ahead. Apon reaching the entrance, Fay noticed the moving painting PASSWORD? To Fay's surprise the Prefect said "You may think it be something dis-respectful towards those considered not of this house, but times have changed since the battle for hogwarts, and I expect each of you apon entering our common room to be respectful of other students regardless of their house, disrespect will be met with house points being deducted! Now the password is Harmony". What thought Fay, she didn't expect that, but the Prefect was still talking "You will need to remember the password, this password is an example of how the Hogwarts houses are not separate but are part of a whole school, now the password is changed weekly, I will inform you of the new password every friday afternoon, in the meantime let's enter shall we, and all get a good night's rest. Fay found her way to her dorm, exhausted she picked a bed and fell asleep, the dorms fire keeping her warm as she slept.
The next morning Fay awoken, for a second she almost thought it been a dream, but she found herself still in her robes, her spare robes next to her trunk, the lining was already green. She changed, and headed downstairs, and exited the common room heading to the Great Hall. Fay ate, meanwhile other students began to sit down beside her, the Prefect Jay she met the night before handed her, her timetable. Noticing Fay's absent mind, the Prefect attempted to engage Fay in a conversation, but Fay wasn't paying attention that was until a fellow first year, said "Hey, aren't you that Drummond kid, the rest of your family always been in Ravenclaw, my family of course have all been in Slytherin" Fay looked up, she recognised the kid from the sorting last night, a first year like her, she thought his name was Drake, he was average height and build, with brown hair, his eyes were a light shade of brown, though she really didn't want to have this conversation, in fact she'd been trying to avoid a similar conversation with Jay. "I know your brothers" Said Jay, Wonderful thought Fay, "How come your not in Ravenclaw" Said Drake, Fay replied "I don't know" Fay went to leave but Jay continued to speak "You know Fay, being in Slytherin isn't a bad thing, and Drake, houses don't always run in family's as each person is placed in a house due to their individual qualities not that of their family, and we don't turn out any more bad witches or wizards than the rest of the houses, that's a common myth, though rather bias, but I will admit we have had some nasty ones but so have the other houses, actually if you read up about this house in the library, you might surprise yourself Fay, were actually considered to be a water sign, often associated with emotions and sensitivity" Jay was smiling as Fay's mouth had now dropped wide open, she never thought of Slytherin like that. Drake Fay had noticed had walked off in a huff, to which Jay said "Don't worry about him, his whole family still stuck in the more traditional but rather crude views, always boasting about being pure, load of garbage if you ask me." Fay thought maybe her brothers did have a bias opinion of Slytherins, she hoped this would not drive a rift between them. Fay wasn't able to catch up with her brothers, this morning, however she thought maybe at dinner she would be able to as she headed to her first class.
Despite Fay's concerns about the sorting, Fay couldn't help but enjoy the day, first up was Potions, she headed back down to the basement, feeling the chilly air, to Fay's relief the potion room was warm, the fireplace was well alight. Fay sat down, as other students began to arrive, to Fay's disappointment Drake walked in the door, but then she saw Bella, she almost leapt out of her seat, before realising she was already surrounded by friends, but then Bella walked right up to Fay and sat down with her, Bella's two friends reluctantly joined the table, introducing themselves as Tina and Sage, Twins both in Gryffindor. As the class started Fay settled down, began taking notes, it was mere theory today, Fay answered all the Professor's questions correctly, the Professor seemed to know Fay's parents, and seemed to expect the same stroke of genius, creative and artwork in Fay's potions of that of her parents, to Fay, this felt like a lot of pressure. The bell rang and Fay was off to Transfiguration.
Before Fay could get to Transfiguration on the sixth floor, Fay had to endure some rather difficult staircases, several of them decided to go down instead of up, one of which kept turning around midair, taking to her a strange staircase, that was equally uncooperative, she was going to be late, then she heard a voice behind her "You alright Sis?" It was Evan, he was head boy, she ran up to him and hugged him, she always felt close to Evan, unless broom sticks were involved, then she remembered her troubles. "Something bothering you other than the staircase?" "I'm in Slytherin, you must thing I'm terrible" Said Fay almost crying, her brother looked at her and said "Come on, this way, I know a spare room we will talk, and then I'll show you how to navigate the stairs. Fay wasn't exactly sure how she found herself in the empty classroom with Evan, but he spoke "Come off it Fay, we always knew you weren't suited for Ravenclaw, sure your just as smart, but you have other positive qualities that make you well suited to your house" "Huh, but aren't Slytherin's bad" Said Fay, to which Evan Said "Weren't you listening to Jay, that's a common myth, and Slytherin's can be rather sensitive and emotional in-tune people, a lot like yourself" "You know Jay?" Said Fay "Of course, he's a prefect and we were mates before that." Fay now crying, was also laughing, Evan waved his wand, and a tissue appeared, he handed it to Fay, "Here I think you need this" then added "And I think Mum and Dad will be really pleased regardless of what house you end up in, Ravenclaw or not, and don't worry about Drake, his whole family is like that too, Jay told me, and as for friends, you'll make plenty" Fay managed to stop crying feeling relieved, as they left the room, the staircases, Evan said "You just got to know what to do" This one here likes to be tickled, and the staircase you were on earlier never takes you to the sixth floor, Fay finally reached Transfiguration class, before she entered the room Jay said "Come to the Great Hall early for dinner, we can catch up more then."
Fay entered Transfiguration, "Sorry, I'm late Professor, I had some stair case trouble" "That's ok Fay, take a seat, were just learning the basic rules of transfiguration magic" Fay took the only spare seat left next to a girl in the same house as her. Fay was quiet through most of the class, taking notes from the blackboard, the chalk was writing down every word the Professor said. Fay wondered if her could bewitch her quill to do that, though it would not be of benefit to Fay's learning. The girl next to her whispered, "My name is Sophia, your Fay right" Fay nodded. The girl continued to speak "I always thought I'd be in Slytherin, family been in this house for generations, I'm the eldest in my family, guess I'm upholding the tradition" The tone of Sophia's voice was rather snobby. "What about you Fay?" Fay was not impressed, her parents have always taught her that your status was not something to boast about, Fay replied "I don't think any of that really matters" Sophia shot Fay a look, and decided Fay wasn't worth talking to ignoring her for the rest of the class, finally the bell rang it was time for lunch.
Fay had no problem navigating the stairs, but she recognised a Slytherin from her transfiguration class having a lot of difficulty. "Oh these stairs, why didn't the Prefects explain this to us last night" The girl muttered, "Do you need a hand, my brother Evan showed me the trick to the stairs, if it wasn't for him, id probably be still trying to get to Transfiguration instead of lunch right now" The girl looked relieved "Your brother is the head boy?" "Yes, and that staircase will always take you anywhere but your destination" But this one here Fay pointed "Tickle it and we will find ourselves on the first floor, just a brisk walk down a few flight of stairs and we will be at the ground floor" The girl smiled, and they both tickled the staircase, it giggled back, the girls stepped onto the staircase and were in the Great Hall ready for lunch before they knew it.
As Fay waited for lunch to magically appear on her plate, literally she introduced herself to the girl she met on the staircase, the girl did the same, her name was Abigail, they talked "That Sophia, is a piece of work" Said Abigail "I don't think she is too bad, just thinks being in the same house as your family is important" Said Fay, "She and Drake were cornering people the other day in the Slytherin common room trying to find out there blood status, your met Drake right?" Said Abigail "Yeah I have, he didn't seem all that impressed with Jay's explanation of the Slytherin house, and I can't believe it did they really corner people" Said Fay "Yep, even with two Prefects threatening detentions" Said Abigail "What!?" Said Fay "I don't think they listened to a word Jay said to us about the meaning of our house password" Said Abigail "No, doesn't sound like it, hope they not bullying people just because of their blood status" Said Fay "I doubt those two would need an excuse, I already headed to bed by the time he started co
The afternoon class was charms on the third floor, it was once again theory based, all Fay's teachers seemed to prefer to teach theory first, practical experience apparently would begin next week, several class members groaned at this, others looked disappointed. Sitting next to Olivia and Abigail, Fay couldn't help notice Sophia was staring at Fay and her friends, Drake was showing an equal quality of dislike on his face as Sophia. But Fay wasn't concerned, she was meeting Evan straight after class she was excited, as the bell went, she excused herself from her friends and went to the Great Hall early.
To Fay's surprise all her brothers were sitting down at the Great Hall. "Fay!" They all said at once, David and Ben putting on there best looks of disgust speaking in a Slytherin voice, which really was a lot of hissing at the end of every word, "So your slimy Green Slytherin" Said David and Ben, they were smiling as Fay laughed, Mason pulled a pack of cards out "Exploding snap anyone" Fay saw Ben also had a pack too and was now trying to convince Evans to have a round, Fay started a game with Mason, and she could hear David commentating on Evan's performance, "Ouch that's got to hurt as the card pack exploded in front of Evans" Fay laughed, as her own game of exploding snap exploded. With Bend and David now playing together, Evans watched Fay and Mason, "Fay's too quick for me" Said Mason as he pointed to Fay's large pile of cards, teasing her brother Fay said "You'll have to snap faster" Mason smiled at her sisters remark, and Evans said "Alright Fay, we know your good at exploding snap, but I'm been practicing all summer" Said Evans, Fay giggled, the pile exploded in front of their faces again! Fay looked around, students were starting to enter the Great Hall "Is that the time" Said Evans, Fay's friends Olivia and Abigail arrived, she introduced them to her brothers, and then she headed to the Slytherin's table with her friends.
Dinner, was relatively uneventful, afterwards. Fay and her friends headed to their dorms after a long day. Herbology was the first class the next day, Fay walked across the castle grounds with her friends discussing Herbology. As the class started Fay discovered the lesson's weren't purely theory based but would be a mixture of theory and practical skill demonstration with plants, Fay recognised several plants in the greenhouse, her own Mum, grew such plants for potions. Though the plant Fay was currently attempting to repot, was refusing to go in the pot, the magical plant was now trying to bite and claw Fay, it took both Abigail and Olivia to assist Fay to get the plant potted, the plant only stopped trying to attack her when it was covered in soil, the bell rang and Fay and her friends headed towards Defense Against the Dark Arts.
The teacher spoke, the first few lessons of this class will be theory base, we will be practicing defensive spells in the 2nd week of term, Fay saw that Drake looked disappointed, Fay's friend Olivia seemed relieved, and Abigail Fay saw was putting her wand away. The class went quickly, time only seemed to slow down in History of Magic, a subject Fay would of thought was rather interesting, if it wasn't for the teacher, she was a young lady she looked as if she'd only graduated a few years ago, but her tone of voice was of a matter of fact, Fay somehow managed to remain awake and take notes.
Over the next few days Fay fell into a regular pattern of classes, with the exception of her first Astronomy class, she rather enjoyed gazing at the stars and recording her findings. She began to settle into a regular pattern, she would have three classes a day, each class was for 2hours, she'd have each of her subjects twice a week. The weekend arrived, being that Fay's homework load was light, she completed her homework in the library in the mornings leaving her afternoon's free to enjoy with Olivia and Abigail. The three girls spent time enjoying the lake, and Bertie Bott's every flavour beans. As Fay returned to the common room she saw that flying lessons would be for an hour on Thursday's starting next week, she wasn't too sure about this idea.
2nd week came around, gossip of flying class was spreading through the first years, some were nervous having never flown before others were excited, and some Fay realised over-exaggerated their skills on a broom stick.
Classes were no longer purely theory based, Fay found her first attempt at a Potion easy, transfiguration was a subject Fay was finding difficult, charms came a little easier to Fay, and she rather enjoyed Herbiology. Defense classes became rather interesting since they were now learning beyond the theory and now practicing defensive spells, history of magic was still seemingly uneventful. Though Fay found herself nervous about flying classes on thursday, but her first attempt at using a broom was not too bad, Fay found herself rather pleased with her ability to handle a broom correctly.
The rest of September seemed to pass uneventful, though Fay noticed that Drake and Sophia seemed to be awfully happy about something during Defense class, most of the class had got a basic grasp on important disarming and shielding spells from attacks. Fay however was concerned that Drake and Sophia might be planning to use these spells outside the class room, she was aware they'd already attempted this on the first night at Hogwarts.
It wasn't until mid-October that it came apparent what Drake and Sophia had been planning along with a few other of their friends. It was the weekend, Fay was studying with Olivia and Abigail, Bella came rushing into the library start to Fay "Fay someone been hitting first years with spells" Said Bella "What?" Said Fay "Several people have been leg locked today" Said Bella "Who been hit" Said Abigail "Two Gryffindor first years, and a Ravenclaw is in the hospital wing, chucking up slugs, a few Hufflepuff students and a Slytherin boy" Said Bella "Whose behind it, can't the Professors stop them, or the Prefects" Said Olivia "Well that's the problem, no one saw who hit them with the spell, got hit from behind, and often in quiet areas" Said Bella, Bella's two friends walked into the library, Tina and Sage, the group were warned by the staff to leave the library if they weren't quiet, the remainder of the conversation was in whispers.
"Who you think is attacking other students?" Said Tina, "I thought Drake and Sophia and their little gang have been planning something" Said Sage, Fay spoke next "We don't have any evidence, but I think it could be them they been awfully cheerful during defense class, and is something they'd do" "And they almost attacked me on the first night here" Said Olivia, Fay's Gryffindor friends were staring at Olivia in shock, so Olivia filled them in. "What do all the people have in common who have been targeted" Said Sophia, Sage's face looked like if something clicked into place "The two Gryffindor's their names were Taylor and Matthew, told Drake and his mates to leave a Hufflepuff first year alone, saw the whole thing, think they would of drawn wands if a Prefect didn't walk by" Said Sage "Ok that's one similarity but what about the others" Said Fay, Olivia spoke next "The Slytherin boy, he told me at the night of the sorting feast that he was a muggle-born, he was sitting right next to me across from Sophia and Drake" "Ok what about the other students" Said Abigail, neither Fay or her friends knew who they were, but the group decided to keep their ears open for any information on who they were, and by the end of the conversation Fay was pretty sure Drake and Sophia and their friends had something to do with the attacks in the meantime the group concluded they should stick together, when possible and keep an eye on Drake and Sophia.
By dinner time, a few more other students were rumoured to have been hit by a few spells, and Abigail pointed out a few first years were missing from their seats in every house. The Head of All the Hogwarts students, before dinner arrived on the plates, addressed the school in a serious tone, Fay had never seen the Professor talk in such a manner.
"As I am sure you have heard first year students seemed to be the target of spells, whether someone is deliberately targeting other students for a reason or things it is funny, I ask that they stop now and come forward, if they do not stop, the student may find themselves facing serious consequences from the head of their house, if anyone has any information on the matter please report what you know to your head of house or Prefect, and I suggest you travel in groups for now until whoever is behind this stops, now I know you must be hungry so enjoy!" The food appeared on the plate, but most students were talking about the events that happened. "We should tell our head of house who we suspect" Said Abigail "We don't know if it is them, we just suspect it is, we don't have solid evidence" Said Fay, "What do you think Olivia" Said Abigail "The prefect already know what happened on the first night with those two, pretty sure they would of reported to head of house" Jay was nearby and caught a whiff of the conversation "Do you know who is hitting first years" "We think it might be Drake, Sophia and their friends, but we don't have any evidence only that it seems they been up to something lately" Jay spoke and to Fay's surprise he said "Wouldn't be surprised if it was them, however don't go accusing others without evidence."
The Great Hall was nearly empty when Fay's brothers came over to join Fay and her friends at the table "You alright Fay?" Said Evans, Fay nodded, "Any idea who it is" Said David, "Only speculation and suspects" Said Fay, "Wouldn't surprise me if it's Drake and Sophia family, there cousins did you know?" Said Ben "Cousins?" Said Olivia "Yeah their older silbings in my year, the whole family been overly happy about something lately, been giving the muggle-borns and anyone who stands up for them more trouble than usual" Said Mason. Although Fay felt close to Evans, he seemed rather serious at the moment and repeated what Jay had told them earlier "You don't know it's them, and beside we just wanted to check your ok, don't go anywhere without your friends, travel in groups" Said Evans. Fay thought Bella, Tina and Sage needed to know what they'd just found out. The Great Hall was empty now, but the whole group played exploding snap, Olivia having only played the muggle version of the game got such a fright as the pack exploded, Fay forgot to mention that it exploded, Fay said Goodbye to her brothers as she and her friends headed towards the Slytherin common room, ten minutes before curfew.
To Be Continued.
Goodbye for now, Until I see you again

Hogwarts; Train, Boat & Sorting Hat.
The family was rushed, but arrived at King's Cross on time, and crossed the barrier onto platform 9 3/4. Fay said a quick goodbye to her parents before boarding the train, she found a compartment away from her brothers, and sat down in an empty compartment.
As Fay waited for lunch to magically appear on her plate, literally she introduced herself to the girl she met on the staircase, the girl did the same, her name was Abigail, they talked "That Sophia, is a piece of work" Said Abigail "I don't think she is too bad, just thinks being in the same house as your family is important" Said Fay, "She and Drake were cornering people the other day in the Slytherin common room trying to find out there blood status, your met Drake right?" Said Abigail "Yeah I have, he didn't seem all that impressed with Jay's explanation of the Slytherin house, and I can't believe it did they really corner people" Said Fay "Yep, even with two Prefects threatening detentions" Said Abigail "What!?" Said Fay "I don't think they listened to a word Jay said to us about the meaning of our house password" Said Abigail "No, doesn't sound like it, hope they not bullying people just because of their blood status" Said Fay "I doubt those two would need an excuse, I already headed to bed by the time he started co
rnering people, I heard this over breakfast" Said Abigail, "Are you talking about what happened last night in the common room" A girl with blonde hair, had just sat down next to Fay and Abigail, Fay wondering whose side this person would pick said "Sophia cornered me, and so did Drake, I tried to get away from them, but they had already drawn their wands, I think they overhead me saying at the feast that my mum was a squib, and my Dad is a muggle, referred to my family as a disgrace for having squibs, and said worst than a mudblood, didn't know what that meant until last night, having rarely associated with my Mum's wizarding family, Jay and another Prefect were furious, disarmed those two before they could fire any spells" Fay looked at the girl shocked "That's horrible" the girl added laughing "But they both got detention right on the spot" Fay giggled a bit. "My name is Olivia by the way" Said the girl. Jay had just sat down beside them so the conversation shifted, Fay did not think such a topic would of been permitted in front of prefects. Until the end of lunch bell rang, the conversation was light hearted and full of jokes.
