The sun warmed her skin as she made her way through the busy street of Diagon Alley. In the near distance was the destination. The professor and her mom were on either side of her as the young witch made her way forward, eyes widening as they drew nearer.

"This the bank?" came her mom's surprised voice. Anna couldn't blame her. This Gringotts was massive in size. She'd never seen any kind of bank this huge before. As they approached the doors, her eyes spotted a plaque. She squeezed her moms hand a little as her eyes scanned the words, surprise flooding her. "Mama, look at the sign..."

Enter, stranger, but take heed
Of what awaits the sin of greed,
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn,
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure there.

"What in the world?" Theresa's voice cut through the silence. The professor explained to stunned mother and child about how protected the bank is and the high security it values. In the end, they walked inside the bank, intent on opening up an account and exchanging the muggle money they had on them.

Having recovered from the sign, her mom said; "You're gonna want to have some pocket change, in case you go on any trips or want something." As they drew further in, mom and daughter were chatting when Anna's eyes flickered to the bank operators--

And she froze .

"Mama...!" She whispered, a thrill of anxiety and curiosity rising within her. But she did not have to alert her. Theresa Lincoln had froze, her fingers tightening around Anna's hand so firmly, it had begun to hurt a little.

"Goblins." The professor stated plainly. "They run Gringotts." Professor went on to explain a little more about the bank, as mom and daughter carefully began to approach.

"Don't stare babygirl..." Theresa reminded her softly.

Anna blinked and her eyes averted from the Goblin's around them, doing her best to pretend literally anything else was more interesting. Soon enough, her mom and the professor were before the bank teller, and Anna watched the three communicate, only half listening, staying close to her mom, who exchanged their muggle money for wizarding currency. The currency in question coming back in the form of what looked to be gold, silver and bronze coins.

The professor explained the currency, and even was kind enough to leave them a written explanation so that they would find it easier to remember. The plush little cat purse she wore was tugged gently and Anna looked up to see her mom had gestured for her. She knew what this meant and dug through her purse to find her wallet. Opening it up, Theresa placed the coins inside. "Don't lose your purse now."

Anna hugged it just a little closer together.

"Alright. We've got your new key, right here." The Goblin said, and soon enough, it was handed to the professor for safekeeping. When all the logistics had been handled, Anna had now had herself a new bank account at Gringotts, money in her purse and her hand in her moms as she, the professor and her mom exited the bank and back onto the streets of Diagon Alley.
