A New Start
Dearest Amber,
I miss you, that is how I decided I'd start the letter. How are things at Ivermorny? I've settled here at Hogwarts, I found my dorm, although I have yet to talk to them, why you must ask? Because there's some kind of underlying tension between them. I decided that as soon as I'd find my dorm, the first thing I'd do is write you an owl. Oh, did I tell you I've been sorted into slytherin? Mum and Dad are so proud. I heard your father was happy as well. Tomorrow I start my first day, and there's nothing I'd want more than my best friends beside me. How I miss you and Sunghoon. Charlie does as well, he kept venting about wanting you guys here all through the train ride, it was quite annoying. In the end Connie had to put a spell on him to shut him up. I also made a new friend, a girl named Dido, she's sweet, really. She reminds me of you when we were younger, your short hairs, those chubby cheeks. I can't we're all separated now, with you in Ivermorny, me and Charlie in Hogwarts, and Sunghoon in Tenusa. Remember what a hard time our parents had to separate us? Such good days! I look forward to seeing you during the winter break.
P.S. Do not forget to bring my Christmas present, as I won't.
