Flame was walking the halls. She had just come from class early on a fake headache. She checked in with the nurse and then went to the corridors. She started looking for the perfect spot to set up. She headed to the corner of the hall where 2 of the corridors connected. Perfect!
She reached into her bag and kneeled on the ground, as she started pulling materials out. She laid everything out so she could see it all. The dung bombs, wire, duct tape, the disk that would serve as a pulley and the rope net that she had spent half an hour tying.
Basically when one of the Slytherin boys entered the hallway, she would throw the dung bomb. They would be so busy trying to wave away the smell they would not see the wire, trip and land in Flames net. Then the net would snap up and leave them hanging there.
Flame Set up and then hid behind the corner and peered around. She saw someone turn the corner. Flame saw a flash of green and knew it was a Slytherin. She threw the Dung bomb and waited. She could not wait for the whole school to see the snooty Slytherin hanging there!

Delilah left class silently after raising her hand with some excuse regarding visiting the restroom. The professor barely glanced at her in response, busy with his usual work of writing notes in the quills. She was able to leave quickly and practically invisibly. Class time in the hallway is usually silent – people walk with soft steps and whispering, making the surroundings eerily calm.
Her steps were silent, and walking a bit too slow, with fingers trailing along cold walls. It was not important to get back as soon as possible. It was pleasant to walk around in such atmosphere. As she was nearing an intersection of corridors, Delilah made an attempt to recall which was the closest restroom when some unusual event disrupted the calm. Plop sound came from somewhere ahead of her.
"What the-?" Her sentence cut off as the stench violently struck her nostrils.
"Oh, gosh!" she choked on the foul odors, using her sleeve to cover her nose in order to attempt to block out the smell. Unable to think clearly she stumbled as her heel caught on something. Her balance gave way and she let out a surprised yell. However instead of landing on the stone flooring, she ended up hanging in a rope net.
"Huh?" With a loud noise, the rope net tightened around her body, pulling her up into the air. The girl froze from surprise – she had lost her footing and now dangled in the air surrounded by ropes.
After a while, her vision cleared enough for her to see that she was suspended above the floor several feet high, her limbs being tied together. Delilah blinked with moist green eyes, a wavy lock falling on her forehead.

Flame peeled around the corner, pumping a fist when she saw the green colour of the Slytherin crest caught up in her net. She prepared herself to walk a at and then stopped. She wanted to see which of the Slytherin jerks she had caught in her prank, hung up for all to see.
She looked closely at the figure hanging in the net. It was a girl with long black hair and tanned skin. Upon closer looks Flame found that she did not recognize the girl. She sighed. Of course. She caught someone she didn’t know! She ran over to the net where the girl was hanging. “Hey sorry about that!” she told the girl turning the net to face her.
“This wasn’t meant for you!” she tried to reassure the girl, hoping that she wasn’t a jerk like the rest of the Slytherins. “Give me one second so I can get you down.” she told her. Flame hooked her foot into the net and pulled herself up towards the ceiling. She reached for the knot at the top of the net, making sure her feet weren’t stepping on the girls hair, hands, or any other parts of her clothing.

Delilah did her best to assess the situation with as much dignity as she could muster, hanging a few feet off the floor inside of a rope net. It seemed unlikely that there would be much dignity present, considering how she was feeling after watching another girl come around the corner, looking like she felt victorious only to deflate upon seeing Delilah’s predicament.
With green eyes narrowed in a glare, she watched the other girl come closer. First she saw the tie, colored Gryffindor red. Of course.
“It wasn’t meant for me,” Delilah said dryly, having decided that whatever this was could either be amusing or irritating enough to warrant the use of such a tone. At this point, she hadn’t quite figured out which it was going to be. “Just fantastic comfort, that. Fantastic. Makes me feel wonderful.”
She let her hand drop away from her nose, even though the smell was still lingering in the air. After all, she wanted to appear collected even as she rotated in the rope net that hung like a chandelier at an especially inconvenient time.
“Take your time, I'm just...hanging here” Delilah said without hesitation, watching the girl climb up toward the top of the net, noticing with some reluctance how well she seemed to do despite her actions being accidental on her part during an attack against an innocent bystander. The other girl climbed with impressive agility; she herself held completely still, tucking her chin down so her hair didn’t become involved.
As she looked around, the hall appeared to be completely empty. The sounds of footsteps came farther away, rather than getting any closer—a small consolation prize. After a short pause, Delilah tilted her head up toward the other girl.
“So,” she said, trying her hardest to keep her voice light. “Exactly who was this for anyway?”

Flame grabbed the knot and in about a second had skilfully undone it. She kept a grip on it so the girl didn’t drop to the floor. She thought about the girl’s question. Who was the prank really for? Not one person specifically, that was for sure. A larger group yes, even though the prank could only function on one person. Flame reached for the hook she had installed on the ceiling and hooked part of the rope around it and then took the rope off of a different hook. She slowly started lowering the girl to the floor being careful not to jar her too much. Before the net got to far from the ceiling Flame hooked a band around the other hook and stepped into it so that she could continue lowering.
“The prank wasn’t really for one specific person.” she told her. “More of a general group.” When the girl reached the ground Flame pulled out the hook opposite her and dropped it on the ground a few feet away. She then skillfully jumped down to the groin landing in a slight crouch. She bent down and started undoing the knots keeping the girl in place one by one. “I had a bad run in with a group of Slytherins the other day so I decided to teach them a little lesson. They walk down this hallway every day after class so I set up here hoping to catch them.” Flame explained while she worked.
