Funeral Blues
WARNING: This is serious and sad RP
It was a cold and windy day as Nick walked to the church he was humming We’ll All Go Together When We Go by Tom Lehrer he thought it quite fitting due to the reason he was walking to the church for his best muggle friend’s funeral he had just arrived at the Church when he saw the coffin go past his eyes filled with tears and his glasses became blurry he cleaned then quickly and sat down in a pew. A few minutes later the Vicar started to speak
We gather here today to remember and be sorry for the loss of Edward Samuel Jones born 6th October 2013 died 27 February 2026 who died when a drunk driver was speeding through red lights with his 4 friends outside his house he died young and by the time the ambulance arrived he was already dead no amount of CPR could restore him.
Nick started crying again because of the memory of Edward’s Death and not being able to save him and the Vicar continued.
And as we lament his loss we should also be happy for the happy times we had with him
Nick stopped listening for ages until they went and put the coffin in a hole where he watched mournfully as his friend got buried.
