A not-so-nice day
I was having a good day. Like, really, a good day.
I got a letter from my dad, the breakfast had strawberries, and I could finally study alone in my corner in the common room! That didn't happen everyday.
I even got some time left to take a nap before my next class. The bad thing was that the nap took five more minutes than I expected, so now I was five minutes late.
Well, not so late. I had this habit of always, always coming to the class ten minutes earlier. Anything from there was late for me.
So now I was finally arriving to the classroom, five minutes less for the class to begin.
But when I walked into...
My usual seat, the one next to the window, was being used by someone.
I noticed her brown hair and grey eyes. She looked... well, weird. Sitting up all straight made me think she was... not someone I'd like to have trouble with.
But then again, this was my seat! And all the rest were filling. Well, there was the one next to her, the one who was always empty when I sat there. I could use it for just this hour.
Mom didn't raise a coward. A reckless, scared child, maybe. But not a coward.
I swallowed and walked towards the empty seat, praying for the girl to magically dissappear so I could sit in my seat again and pretend nothing happened.
Well, this was going to be a long five minutes until the class started. And then, a long hour until it ended. And then...

'Do you want my autograph?'
And all I could do was frown and narrow my eyes. Some adults told me that I was rude for not greeting people properly, but they should really meet this girl. She was being so rude to me.
I took a quick glance at her robes. Green. Slytherin. Oh well, that explained it all. She must've been one of those pretentious, mean ones.
'Well? Are you going to tell me why you’re here… or are you just going to stare?'
I didn't understand why she was being so rude, but I knew I wasn't doing anything wrong. And this was already taking a weird turn.
"I'm here to take class. Just like you." I replied, with an obvious tone. She was probably just stressed. After all, she probably had a bad day. It happened to everyone. She needed someone to take it out on, and we crossed paths.
"And you're on my seat, by the way." I pointed at her. It was my routine to sit in that seat, and she was changing it. And I didn't like it when that happened.

"I'm here to take class. Just like you." she replied almost sarcastically.
For a second, I just stare at her, “Then stand somewhere else and continue doing exactly that.” I say in a dismissive tone, as I opened my ink bottle and placed it not too far away from the edge of the table.
"And you're on my seat, by the way" she pointed out, right, what a childish comment.
I lean back in my chair, crossing my arms, “I don’t remember seats being assigned.” I commented, "Besides, you're name is not written on it" I replied unbothered.
I glance briefly at the window beside me, then back at her, “But how tragic. Your routine’s been disrupted, maybe come early next time.” I looked around the room and it was full of empty seats, I didn't know why she didn't decide to sit in any of them,
she didn't seem like she was going to back down though. I was in for a painfully irritating lesson.
My fingers tap once against the desk before going still, "I'm not going to move if that's what you're asking, take another seat; there's plenty" How nice of me. Offering a solution. She should be grateful instead of pitifully standing there.
She's making the situation much deeper than necessary.
It's better if I ignore her, I was having a decently nice day and she was not going to ruin it for me. So calmly, I started writing the date and title of today's lesson in my parchment, dipping my quill on the ink delicately before doing so.

Coded by Melissa BlakeMy eye twitched. Like, literally, twitched. My eye had never twitched that way before. I didn't even know it was something an eye could do.
But I forced myself to calm down. Alright, Mikaela. This one is a bad one. A bully. And sadly, she's right. I quickly scanned the room, looking for the closest seat (turned out to be the one next to her) as my hand slipped into my bag.
"Were both sides of your pillow warm last night? Who peed on your tea this morning?" I frowned as I moved next to her and, in a solid and fluid motion, while I talked, my hand tool out my small bottle of ink and spilled some of it.
Straight over her hand. It stained a bit of the parchment, too. Good.
I was not usually the kind of person who does this kind of things, but enough was enough. My patience was very limited, and this girl was testing it.
And, just to piss her off a bit more, just to be a chip on her shoulder, I sat down in the seat next to her, taking out my things as if nothing happened, and began copying her actions.
Writing the day and the title, humming quietly. I would need to refill my ink bottle, but it was worth it. At least she'd have a good time being mad because her perfect hand and parchment got stained. I glanced briefly at her just to catch her reaction.
This kind of behavior, years ago, would make the teacher call my parents inmediately. Right now, I thought with a little smile, there was no teacher around.Stamina: 6 | Evasion: 6 | Strength: 4 | Wisdom: 7 | Arc Power: 6 | Accuracy: 6
