Just ChattingOn that fall day, classes were finally over and Laasya had just returned to her dorm to change from her school uniform to something more casual. She had a bit of Charms homework to do, with the essays and stuff and although Charms was one of her favorite subjects, she thought that the homework was a tad too lengthy. She decided to find somewhere peaceful and quiet to do it. But when she checked the library, it was filled with people in all corners. So, she decided to go to the courtyard instead. She grabbed her supplies ; parchment, quills, the textbook and all that stuff while carrying it in a bag and went over there. She also decided to bring her cat Pearl who luckily slept nicely in the morning during classes and was in a good mood. And the silver tabby cat was willing to go with Laasya, if it meant roaming around in an open space.
She looked at the scene. It was perfect for what she had to do. There was a neat bench at the center and it was the perfect atmosphere, not too many people and lots of space. Although Laasya didn't mind people, she preferred it quiet while studying or sleeping. Anything else and she would be happy to have company. She set her bag down on the bench, and then started her essay. She wrote all about the spell that they did in class that day. Laasya had lots of fun with the teacher, just like she did on her first day. Eventually, the homework was over and Laasya put it away before realising she also had Potions homework. "Almost forgot about that." Laasya muttered to herself while finishing it up as soon as possible. Potions was also something enjoyable, she got to mix lots of weird ingredients and it was also the place where Laasya had met her best friends. Eventually, she finished that and decided to stay for a bit longer while reading a book. Pearl was having the time of her life, roaming around and chasing the butterflies and clearly looked like she did not want to leave.
Laasya grabbed 'Little Women' and began to read in her head. She had gotten it when she was 7, she was always a bookworm always asking for new storybooks every birthday and this was one of her favorites. She devoured the book, reading each page carefully. She had read it about a 100 times but it was always intresting every single time. Pearl also got tired of the chasing and curled down at Laasya's feet.
