Meeting at Diagon Alley
@Rosalyn Willows
The start of the school year was approaching, and I was finally going to Hogwarts. Mom, Esmeray, my older sister, Jenna, and my older brother, Briar, had told me so much about it. Ever since I became a werewolf—that is, since I was two weeks old, not even a month old—Mom had told me all sorts of stories about a castle, located somewhere, but it was gigantic, and inside there were wizards who came from all over England. This place seemed fantastic to me, and when I performed my first act of magic, everyone was sure I was going to Hogwarts. Finally, this summer, I received my letter. I was so happy. Today, I was walking down Diagon Alley, looking for a pet shop. I needed an owl, because Mom, Jenna, and Briar needed their owls, so I needed a new one. I had my books in my hands and couldn't see very well where I was going. Suddenly, I bumped into someone and fell backward, my books falling onto my face. When I was a little less stunned, I put my hand to my face. The scar on my eye had reopened from the impact of the books...

"Damn..."

Because I was wearing a lot of chains attached to my pants, I must have made a lot of noise when I fell because everyone was looking at me.

Before School Starts
Rosalyn was having quite a good day. She'd gotten a bunch of different supplies, and was very happy that she'd managed to find everything. She had even met a potential new friend while getting ice cream, which was very cool!

She was walking around, looking to see if there was anywhere else she'd like to visit before heading back home. She turned a corner, checking both ways before she crossed the street, like her mum had taught her, but she felt an impact and went down tumbling.

"Oh! Are you...are you alright?" she asked, rubbing her head where it had hit the ground a bit hard. She heard a sort of rattling from whoever had bumped into her, and she looked down. She saw a girl, looking to be about her age. She had some very cool pants, with chains that accounted for the rattling. She seemed to be carrying a load of books, and that explained why the collision had happened.

"Here, let me help you up." she said, standing before bending down to help stack the books again, not wanting to leave the girl with a mess.

"I'm Rosie, by the way? Who might you be?" she asked, brushing the hair out of her eyes, the curls flying all around her face wildly from the fall.

She looked at the girl again, seeing a scar of sorts on her eye that was bleeding! Oh no, that's not good!!!

"You're bleeding! Oh, here, let me..." she said, pulling some band-aids out of her bag. She always had them with her, because she was quite clumsy, but it seemed that desperate times called for desperate measures.
