Fun tip! While reading this RP listen to Thank You For The Music from Mamma Mia! if you don't listen during the RP its a good idea to listin to it so you know how it sounds!

It was right after I finished my dinner early. I hadn't planned on finishing dinner early it just happened. I was so caught up in my thoughts on what my campaign for the spring ball was going to be, I hadn't even realized I was halfway up the stairs to the astronomy tower. Well your going up there anyway... I thought walking up into the main room. The main classroom was super cozy. I've always loved how professor allowed us to be comfortable during lessons... I said while spotting the beanbag chairs. I've always thought the astronomy tower was really aesthetic. I should really do some homework for astronomy... I thought. I ran my figure along the spines of many of the books in the tower. For some strange reason the performer part of me awoken. I know it sounds weird but that's what it felt like. The first few notes of Thank you For The Music started playing. The first few jazzy notes. " I'm nothing special in fact, I'm a bit of a bore." I started singing. I didn't realize I was even singing out loud. "If I tell a joke, you've probably heard it before..." I suddenly became hyper aware of the world around me but I also was actually not quite aware too. I noticed the golden light of the sunset shining on me, I noticed the pink clouds. "But I have a talent, a wonderful thing, 'cause everyone listens when I start to sing!" but no one was listening because I was in the room alone. I hope...because it would creep me out if someone was listening."I'm so grateful and proud all I want is to sing it out loud..." I was lost in the song. It is one of my FAVORITES from my FAVORITE muggle movie. I was now at the chorus of the song "So I say...Thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing. Thanks for all the joy they're bringing, Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty, what would life be without out a song or a dance what are we? So I say thank you for the music. For giving it to me...." I finished the song. But once I was done I heard a noise. What or who is that?

"A wise girl knows her limits; A smart girl knows she has none."

Denise was at dinner, eating the usual meals. She's still not used to the disgusting pumpkin juice and opted for orange juice instead, sipping slowly while reading her charms book. She does have to study for astronomy soon, so Denise opened her satchel to dig it out quickly.

It was missing. Denise looked everywhere in her satchel, still not there. She couldn’t lose that book; it had her annotations, everything. Also, she just doesn't want to pay to buy it, after she drained her own wallet for a Comet 180, which was worth the investment for the unofficial Quidditch game.

Oh no. Denise took a deep breath, relaxed, maybe it's in the astronomy tower. She quickly packed her satchel and left dinner early for the astronomy tower in the classroom.

She slowed down when she heard a voice... it was singing? She halted for a moment and listened. The voice was very beautiful, and Denise didn't know the song's name but liked the melody and the music. She stood and listened outside the door.

Clank! I dropped my satchel at the wrong time. The girl behind the door noticed, so I quickly picked it up and slowly opened the door.

"Hello? Sorry to... interrupt..." Denise didn't know if interrupt was the right word.

"Umm... is this room taken for a club or something?" Denise assumed, considering that the girl was singing, that it was some singing club.

"I think I might have left my astronomy textbook here. I have recently lost it."

I heard a satchel drop on the floor and I whipped around to see a girl in hufflepuff robes. She had tan skin and dark brown eyes. She also had dark black wavy hair. She seemed about a year older than me but also seemed quite new to Hogwarts. She seems nice... I thought. "Hello? Sorry to... interrupt..." the girl said. She seemed quite embarrassed. "Umm... is this room taken for a club or something?" she asked quietly. Then she added quite quickly, "I think I might have left my astronomy textbook here. I have recently lost it." I looked around the room. Then on a table there was a astronomy textbook. I immediately assumed it was hers. "This book?" I asked as I handed it back to her. "To answer your question this isn't a singing club, I'm just thinking of things to do for my campaign for spring ball royalty." Does she think I'm good enough to lead a club? I wondered to myself. I think I might have blushed. "Also you were not interrupting. Sometimes I just get lost in my thoughts...So what's your name?" I asked. I said all of this in one breath. Sometimes I forget to breathe when I'm talking. "Did I sing ok?" I asked, suddenly pretty self conscious. I was hoping that she wouldn't take me for a random freak for singing out loud in the astronomy tower.

Denise felt her face getting warm as she waited for the girls' response.

Was that the wrong way to approach it? Maybe she should have just run away and excused herself until the girl left so she could get back her book, wherever it was...

To her surprise, she looked around, and we both spotted my battered astronomy book, a victim of my neglectful lifestyle since I just shoved it in with my other books and parchment. She handed it back, and I looked at it, relieved to have it back. The last thing I needed to worry about was trying to buy a new one with my purse being practically drained and empty.

The girl's face turned red as she answered, "To answer your question, this isn't a singing club; I'm just thinking of things to do for my campaign for spring ball royalty."

Oh, Denise felt a bit embarrassed for assuming that. "Oh, sorry about that, you don't usually hear singing in the astronomy tower. I didn't mean my comment to be insulting."

She added, "I don't know much about the ball, though..." which is true. Denise can't see herself going there with some guy either. She can't imagine having the attention span of saying there and being dainty and quiet, which is what she usually stereotypically imagines a ball to be.

The girl added that sometimes she just gets lost in her thoughts and asked for her name.

Surprised, Denise answered, "My name is Denise Yarbrough, I'm a first-year Hufflepuff. Don't worry about it. Sometimes, I also get lost in my own thoughts and wander off in the castle whenever I have free time to do so. I think everyone does that, but they just don't usually admit to it."

The girl inquired, "Did I sing ok?"

Denise was taken aback by the question. Did the girl think she sounded bad? If she sounded bad, then Denise was a screeching banshee. "You sounded great!" comforted Denise, "You are very talented, unfortunately, I can't sing even if my life depended on it."

Denise placed her astronomy book in her satchel carefully, a bit embarrassed by it looking a bit worn despite being brand new since the beginning of the year.

But Denise didn't leave.

Denise looked at the girls' robes, clearly a Ravenclaw, asking, "And your name? Are you planning to audition for the OnSTAGE drama club? Well, I was planning to audition for BackSTAGE, but mostly costume, set design, or makeup."
