Elise Hernandez-Ravenclaw- 1st year

This is eleven-year-old Elise Hernandez, who has really light blonde, icy blue eyes, and curly hair.

Elise is shy with people she doesn't know, but with friends and people she knows, she is very outgoing. She takes her schoolwork seriously and does homework right after school. Elise is also very good at sensing when someone's upset or anxious and is a calming influence.

Prior to Hogwarts, Elise had been raised in a large family with eight children of which she was the eldest. Originally from Russia, her family later moved though much of their lifestyle and traditions remained the same. As the oldest child, Elise assumed a level of subtle authority and control over her younger siblings.

Her siblings included Genevieve, who was ten; Elias, nine; Chris, eight; Noah, seven; Eleanor, six; Florence, five; and the youngest, Isla, who was two years old. Their home was however, well organized despite the mayhem that ensued due to the number of people in the family. They lived in a large mansion where almost every floor was taken up by one of her siblings, leaving only the main shared areas for everyone to congregate in, i.e., the kitchen, dining room, and living room.

Her father worked as the CEO of an international company, and was often busy and traveling, while her mother was a highly dedicated surgeon. Because of this, Elise learned independence at a tender age, and she spends her time reading, doing ballet exercises, or taking solitude away from the house’s noise.

There were always subtle things during her childhood that felt different, which Elise never really asked too many questions about until she learned the reality of magic.

When Elise was eight years old, she had her very first experience with magic. It occurred when Elise was playing in her yard by balancing herself on a low garden wall, and she slipped. For a brief moment, she felt like she was falling. However, before she went down, she felt something gently stop her from falling. She hovered in the air for almost a full heartbeat before walking safely back onto the low wall.
