I had always expected Platform 9¾ to feel magical but the first thing i noticed was how loud it was.

Steam from the hogwarts express curled through the air while students were rushing with their trunk rattling behind them. Owls were hooting loudly from their cage, which kinda made me frustrated as it was already too much.

I stood beside my trolly with my parents trying to calm myself down and to take everything in.

"Try not to get lost" my brother, Lucas started blabbering to make me more annoyed than i already am.

I rolled my eyes at him. My mom scolded him for annoying me "hope you like that" i said and showed my tongue to Lucas

"Ken, behave" said my mother as always. Ah, typical mom behavior.

I said bye to everyone. Hugged my family, pushed my trolly and finally boarded the train. The corridor was filled with students rushing to find a compartment. After walking past a few, I finally found one which was empty

Perfect

I pulled my trolly inside and sat near the window, my fav spot and was looking outside the train. I searched my pocket and checked if I still have the chocolate i took "ah, there it is"

Leaning back against my seat,
I glanced towards the door. "Plenty of space in here" I casually said to whoever might be walking past the compartment

"Unless someone already has the same idea" said someone and I looked towards the door.
