*While her family belongs to the old aristocracy, Estelle is not a pure-blood. Her mother is a half-blood, the daughter of a wizard from a respected line and a non-magical parent. Though the family carries the prestige of their "noble" history, they are not strictly traditionalists

Estelle was born into a old wizarding family. And she grew up in a small coastal village in the Scottish Highlands. Her father works as a magical cartographer for the Ministry, mapping shifting magical landscapes and ley lines, while her mother is an apothecary witch who crafts remedies and potions for magical clients.As an only child, Estelle spent most of her time playing outside, drawing magical (and not so magical) plants, and helping her mother welcome her customers. She kept a leather-bound sketchbook that became a chaotic encyclopedia. One page might feature a perfectly rendered Highland thistle, while the next detailed the snapping jaws of a Venomous Tentacula seedling her mother grew in the greenhouse. Sometimes, she “borrowed” her father's enchanted compass to go"treasure hunting" along the cliffs, though she usually just found unusual sea glass or phosphorescent moss for her mother’s workshop. Estelle was often with the muggles children of her village but had few close wizards friends her age, aside from occasional visits from her family or her parent’s friends family because her parents and her was the only wizarding family of her village.Thanks to her family, who belong to the old aristocracy (although not very traditional), Estelle speaks French fluently (this was common in old families and is considered a ‘noble’ language).Once a year, her family hosted the "Solstice Salon." Her distant family from around the world would then come and spend three weeks in the Highlands. Those weeks were a whirlwind of magic and conviviality, where she played in lots of games with her cousins, always under the watchful eye of her grandmother's cat, Ginger.

╰┈➤ ❝ FIRST INSTANCE OF MAGIC ❞

Estelle discovered her magic when she was 4 years old while playing with her cousins climbing cliffs: They were scrambling up the jagged basalt cliffs that overlooked the Minch, ignoring the warnings of Ginger, her grandmother’s ancient, grumpy ginger cat. Ginger had been sent out to "monitor" the children, though he mostly spent the time flicking his tail in disapproval from a sun-warmed ledge; when she fell, her magic activated and created a bed of seaweed so she could land without getting hurt.
Her grandmother, a formidable woman who smelled of old parchment and dried lavender, was on the scene moments later. First, she leveled a terrifyingly stern look at Estelle (and the cousins), lecturing them in sharp, rapid-fire French about the "utter stupidity of Tangling with Gravity" and the "recklessness of youth."Once the reprimand was over, however, her expression softened to reveal a rare triumphant smile. Displaying such specific and elemental magic at only four years old was a sign of immense potential. “At least,” she murmured, “you have the good sense to run away in style.”

જ⁀➴Estelle was the first in her family to have them so early and her grandma was so happy that she gave her a necklace wich give her access to her grandmother's castle library.
