Through the Wall and ... Abroad the Hogwarts Express!
It was the 1st of September. Alice arrived at King's Cross station. The place was bustling and very noisy. Johannes whispered to Alice, "We mustn't let the muggles know we're wizards. So, this station has a secret entrance to the Hogwarts Express's platform. You know where the platform is, right?" "It's platform 9 3/4, but that's impossible to exist!" she replied. "We can go through the barrier between platform 9 and 10. And don't worry, we won't crash!" said Olivia. "Everyone, lean casually against the barrier!" said Dad. They all did so. Alice felt a cool sensation, then they fell backwards onto platform 9 3/4. Beside the platform, there it was: the scarlet-red steam engine, and in the front were the yellow words: The Hogwarts Express "Go on board, everyone!" called Dad.
It was warm and cozy in the carriages. “Alfred and I are going to the prefects’ carriage,” said Johannes while he and Alfred pinned their badges to their robes. Alice and Olivia walked into one of the other carriages, put their trunks on the racks and sat down together.
Then, a girl with straight, brown hair came into the carriage. She looked around for empty seats, but there weren’t any except for the both opposite Alice and Olivia. She walked over and asked, quite politely, “May I sit here, please?” “Sure! Come on!”said Olivia. The girl placed her trunk on the rack and sat down with a smile on her face.
“Actually, I wanted to ask, what is your name?”said the girl, looking at Alice and Olivia. “I’m Alice Wang, and she’s my older sister, Olivia Wang, in her second year! I’m starting my first year at Hogwarts! What’s your name?”she said. “Nice to meet you! I’m Aurora Midgley, and I’m starting my first year here too!”
They chatted for a long time and eventually, they arrived at Hogsmeade Station. All of the Hogwarts students swarmed out of The Hogwarts Express. Alice walked out of the carriage, carrying her heavy trunk, and feeling particularly excited.
