Letters from the Fire [Errand] - Errands

In the final days of Ramadan, focus turns towards nijat (i.e. salvation and protection from what might consume us). For this errand, participating characters write a letter to themselves (present or future), reflecting on who they are at the end of this month. The letter must do the following:
Identify their “Fire”: one thing that most threatens to consume them or pull them away from who they want to be. This can be a character flaw (jealousy, impulsiveness, pride), an external pressure (family expectations, fear of failure, loneliness), or something smaller and more humorous, as long as it feels true to them.

Identify their “Light”: one memory, relationship, value, or belief that matters more to them than their Fire and can guide them when things are difficult.

Commit to 1–2 specific changes in behavior or outlook that they intend to try after Ramadan to move away from their Fire and towards their Light. These do not have to be grand or guaranteed to succeed. They are intentions, not chains.

OOC Information

Only those who have completed the requirements of Clearing the old Shadows are eligible for reward upon completion of this errand.

This errand can be taken as seriously or lightly as the player wishes. Some characters may write a deeply personal letter, while others might approach it with gentler or more symbolic concerns. Both are valid, as long as the structure (Fire, Light, and attempted change) is honored.

Minimum Wordcount for this errand is 400 words per participant.
