Autumn Leaves
Date: 09/10/2025 | Time: 16:55 | Location: Library ✦What an exciting day ! As well as exhausting… Because today was the first day of class, the teachers didn’t make them start working right away, they first explained the subjects they would be teaching and what supplies they would need to bring to class. The subjects seem very interesting, particularly the Charms and Transfiguration classes. Furthermore the majority of teachers seemed quite nice while one or two seemed stricter but not to the point of being mean.
Now that Astal finished all her classes, she can finally go to see that grand library she heard everyone praising, according to some it is the biggest library of wizarding history but that’s doubtful… Only one rumor interested Astal : the fact that you can stay days in there and never get bored of it. Also as she was a great bookworm when the time calls for it, she decided to go to the library to find a book to read.
When Astal arrived at the entranced, she was amazed by the tall ceilings and giant shelves where thousands of books could be held, this was like a little paradise for her. She walked towards the closest shelf and looked for a book that could seem interesting to read during her free time. She found one about the history of quidditch, a sport that she loves to watch and maybe play one day. Astal went to the sitting area and found a table where a few places were still available, she sat down and started reading her book.────────────────────────────────↳ Interacting With: @Asha Singh

Books are like messages in bottles; their message might just save you from shipwreck.
Autumn Leaves
Tara collapsed into a chair, not noticing the redhead already sitting at the table.
She had spent the entire day running; running from Charms to Transfiguration, Transfiguration to Herbology, Herbology to Potions, you get the idea.
Her legs were sore from-well, everything.
Tara didn't know why she always found herself in the library after school had ended for the day; she supposed that libraries were familiar to her, comforting in a way.
Her mum was a librarian.
Unfortunately, the Hogwarts library lacked Asha's favorite literature.
But it did have plenty of spellbooks.
And Asha supposed she needed them, as she had struggled in everything except Potions that day.
Asha had never made potions herself, but the steps and ingredient had felt familiar to her, even if she hadn't done them before, because though much of her childhood was spent in a library reading a book, or in a kitchen learning to make dosa, much of it had also been spent in the corner of a room reading as her father mixed a healing salve for the cuts on her arm.
Asha pushed back a strand of hair, her beautiful long layers inconvenient when she was lathered with sweat.
I'll ask mum for a wolf cut over the summer, Asha thought to herself.
She began to take in her surroundings more closely, and as she reached down to grab her Charms book, as she had particularly struggled with, when she looked back up, she noticed the other girl, who had pretty ginger hair and green eyes, reading.
"Oh-shit-I mean shoot-I-I'm so sorry!" Asha exclaimed in embarrassment.
