A Whomping Heist
Ember snuck out of her dormitory, trespassing the dimly lit corridors. She glanced around. Nobody seemed to be there. Her heart was thumping with a mixture of rebellion and excitement as she hurried down the stairs. Another girl, Ero, had been agreeing to do this with her. She smiled as she remembered the Hufflepuff prankster and all the lipstick… She didn’t even mind the memory of the detention.
Ember stopped to think about the plan. Was she completely brain dead, bringing herself into a situation like that again? Why was she risking another detention? The young Ravenclaw closed her eyes in fear, walking backwards. She abruptly came to a halt. What was she doing? Of course they could get caught, but if they didn’t, a real Whomping Willow to raise would be absolutely fantastic. And Ero was probably already waiting in the castle grounds…With a deep breath, she staggered forward, quickening her pace with every step. Every now and then she lit up her wand again to be on the lookout for roaming professors, prefects or the elderly caretaker. Luckily her path stayed clear. The cold November air surged into her lungs and enveloped her with a gale blowing over the castle; she turned to look back up at Hogwarts. Only a few windows were lit. Probably Professors unable to sleep, or older students pulling an all-nighter for their O. W. L.s or N. E. W. Ts. Nobody in the Ravenclaw tower, not in her dorm where someone might have noticed her disappearance. She turned back and walked towards the greenhouses, ducking behind a bush every time she thought she had seen a shadow. "Ero?" she whispered, jumping at the sound of her own voice. Oh god... please stop being so damn scared. Her hands were shaking uncontrollably. "Ero? Are you there?"

A Whomping Heist
Ero had slipped out of her dormitory no problem. This wasn't the first time she'd pulled a trick like this, a few pillows and hair extensions could fool any tiny glance and maybe even a curious look. She crept down the stone halls on bare foot, carrying her boots, then slipped them on to pass through the courtyard. As the greenhouse aproached, it sunk in that just what she was doing. Ero's hands fidgeted for her wand, and she checked around for anyone. When the coast was clear, she darted from her spot behind the tree to another one, nearly dropping her wand in the process.
Finally, the girl, who's yellow-patterned robes were not the best choice to sneak out in, aproached the area around the greenhouse and looked around, silently, for her friend. 'Is she finally ratting me out?' She silently realized, and shivered. "Ero?" She heard Ember's trembling whisper. "Ero? Are you there?" The Ravenclaw whispered, and Ero slid from her hiding spot with both palms out in a quiet peace gesture. "Yeah, I am.. You ready?" Ero whispered with a serious look, but couldn't help but smile. A real whomping willow sapling, Ember must be a genius!
