Searching for the mystics

Saphira couldn't believe her eyes. Everything was so mystical here. If she could, she would stay here for days, trying to discover everything. Trying to find answers to hidden myths.
'If this is already looking so cool, how will the castle look?' Saphira couldn't help but ask herself that question.
Saphira went to one of the walls, inspecting it. It looked old and new at the same time. And it just had something on it that threw Saphira here.
She really hoped that she could spend a lot of time here. "I should not forget to ask if I can come here whenever I want, or if that place is forbidden, and only to enter when we arrive or go from the school?" Saphira reminded herself and continued to inspect everything.
Wait! Saphira suddenly straightened up when she remembered something. How long did she still have before they would continue their journey through Hogwarts?
Saphira hysterically looked around, searching for a person whom she could ask that question. But the only people she saw were already in groups. And she didn't want to disrupt them, so she searched for someone else.
It didn't take long for Saphira to spot someone. A girl, probably her age, was standing near the water, looking with a clouded gaze at it.
'Maybe she knows an answer to my question.' Saphira thought, but honestly, she didn't even care anymore about her question.
The girl looked sympathic and she wanted to be friends with her.
So Saphira took all her courage and stepped toward the girl. When she arrived next to the girl, she put on a smile and introduced herself, putting in effort to make her voice sound friendly, soft, and calming so as not to scare the person in front of her.
"Hello, it's nice to meet you. My name is Saphira, what's yours?"

Ophelia was standing near the water in the Boathouse, looking at the horizon. It was afternoon, but they still had time before they had to go back to their common rooms.
The weather was cool, a little windy, but there was no need for a jacket. Even though there were some other people in the Boathouse, this place seemed to be one of the few places that seemed quiet, even when students were present and chattering.
The boathouse was somewhere she'd recently discovered and chosen as one of her favorite places -next to the Gryffindor common room, the library, the great hall, and some of the classes.
Ophelia knelt down and dipped her hand in the water, which was a bit colder than expected. She moved her hand, making small waves with the motion. This movement reminded her of that time when she and her family went to have lunch next to a river on a vacation.
Startled, she stood back up when she heard steps nearing her location. She saw that a Slytherin girl was walking towards her, seemingly nervous and hesitant. When she was asked the question, she tilted her head softly and looked at the girl more closely.
The girl had long brown hair, and her eyes were blue... or green? Both? Ophelia cleared her throat and smiled at the girl "Ophelia, nice to meet you, too."

Saphira smiled as she got an answer. She had already feared that the girl would ignore her; after all, she was Slytherin, and the other girl was Gryffindor. And Saphira had heard before that those two houses didn't get along so well.
But that Ophelia had also introduced herself with a smile only proved what Saphira had thought about that girl. And that was that she really had a sympathetic aura around her. And the wish to be friends with her got a bit bigger as well.
'Maybe they could really become good friends?'
But for that, Saphira needed to start a conversation. But what should she say? That Ophelia's name was beautiful? No, too strange coming from a stranger.
Maybe that Ophelia and Saphira's names sounded similar? Now that Saphira thought about it, they really did sound similar, yet, wouldn't it be strange for Saphira to state that?
Saphira quickly looked around, trying to find something that could help start a conversation, then a sudden idea got into her head.
"Do you come here often?" Saphira asked with a smile.
After all, what else could she say? She wanted to make friends with other house members too, but that was her first time approving someone herself, and yeah, saying that Saphira was nervous would be an understatement.

Ophelia shrugged. "I don't, no. It's my second time here," she said. Ophelia looked more closely at Saphira. She looks nice. She thought.
It was not insanely difficult to make friends in Hogwarts; maybe it was even easier than befriending someone in the Muggle world. Until now, Ophelia hadn't really encountered someone who was that mean, and never encountered a so-called bully.
In the Muggle world, though, she'd seen lots of bullies, but she wasn't sure if she could tell if someone was one by seeing them only once. What she was sure of was that not in a million years would she trust herself enough to stand up for herself.
Ophelia had no idea what to do now. What should she say? This was awkward when there was no real conversation topic present."Do you come here often?" She asked Saphira and tapped the space next to her as she sat down on the floor.
She didn't expect Saphira to sit down next to her -some people just didn't want to sit on the floor, because they didn't want their clothes to get dirty-, but she thought it would be nice to at least suggest it.
Ophelia let her hand make small waves in the water. It was obvious that she was bored, in general, but wanted the conversation between Saphira and her to continue nonetheless.

Searching for the mystics
Saphira silently observed the other girl, trying to find out if the girl wanted to make conversation or be left alone.
Right now, she had sat down after asking her the same question Saphira had asked her before. Ophelia tapped the place next to her on the floor, giving Saphira an invitation to sit down next to her.
Saphira was kinda surprised by it, but then a smile sneaked onto Saphira's smile, and she sat down next to the girl.
The gesture made Saphira at least sure that Ophelia was enjoying the presence of Saphira enough to let her stay by her side.
Saphira noticed that Ophelia had started to play with the water. And Saphira silently touched the water. It was cold, but still feeling comfortable.
"I don't go here often, at least, not as often as I would like to. I don't know why, but something here makes me want to be here as often as possible. It's like something is drawing me close to this place."
Saphira laughed a bit nervously.
"This all probably sounds confusing and even stupid to you. But I can't explain it any better."
Saphira continued to speak. It looked like Ophelia was more the type to just listen while another person was talking. And that was perfect for Saphira, because Saphira loved to talk more than anything. But she couldn't be sure, so she waited for a moment, letting all the information sink in and waiting for a response to her words.
