Waiting..
Rachael relentlessly steps on the train before looking back at her parents with a frown and she waves them goodbye.

She steps farther in the train looking for an empty cabin before she finds one in the far back and she steps in closing the door behind her and she puts her bag above her and she sits down next to the window and she watches all the other students the same age and older say goodbye to their families.

Rachael leans her head on the window and she watches the trees go by as the train starts to leave the station and she grabs a book from her bag and she reads it letting the world pass by and her hair covers her face mostly as she reads.

She Hums quietly as she reads her book only looking up when the food tray comes by and she buys some chocolate and she looks back down at her book as she eats the chocolate slowly and she pulls her coat closer to her before her eyes slowly start to close and her head lowers as she slowly drifts off to sleep. Her book slightly closes on her lap as she falls asleep with her head resting on the window

Waiting..
Nervous, she have arrived late and had gotten on the train after everyone else, which have forced her to stay stuck in the corridor waiting for the others to settle in. Her hands firmly pressed against her belongings, she finally moves, looking for a place. Ophélie know what she is supposed to do. Get into the Hogwarts express, find a quiet compartment and settle there to avoid the crowd. At first, she wanted to settle in an empty one, but finally, she decides to opt for a cabin occupied by one person, who would surely wants, like her, peace and quiet, in order to be sure of having a calm trip.

The atmosphere in the train is bustling and particular, each box have its own atmosphere. She notices, that some people seems extremely excited about the idea of entering Hogwarts, others, older ones, are amused by the excitement of the younger ones or are only thinking about the fact that the holidays just ended, to their great despair, which give them a sulky look. Already settled, the students are chatting happily, some have already taken card games out and are distributing the cards, others simply watches the landscape moving away through the windows.

All this agitation pushed Ophélie to the end of the train where she finally finds what she is looking for. She expected nothing better. She have luckily found a wagon occupied by a sleeper. In a sitting position, the young girl is sleeping peacefully, her blond hair covering her face. A book have remained open next to her. Ophélie thinks the girl is lucky if she doesn’t lose her page. More than happy, she discreetly enters the cabin, trying to make as little noise as possible, not to wake her up.
What is she reading ? She does not recognise this book...
She is trying to decipher the title of the book, since the cover is partially visible, when she notices a soft rustle very close to her. Already knowing what she is likely to discover, she abruptly stepped back and quickly searches for excuses to give for disturbing the girl in her sleep. However, when she looks up from her shoes, with a panicked heartbeat, she only manages to mumble half of what she intended to say. She said something incomprehensible, without daring to repeat herself, her eyes darting.

Waiting..
Rachael stirs slightly and she lifts her head as she fixes her hair away from her face and she looks around before she spots Ophélie looking at her "Oh! Hello" Rachael says not hearing what Ophélie said as she straightens herself and she closes her book which is The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman.

"Feel free to sit. I'm Rachael, Rachael Roseheart Nice to meet you" Rachael says with a slight smile and she puts her book down on her lap and she reaches her hand out to Ophélie for a handshake and she looks her up and down. Rachael leans against the seat and she fixes her coat "your lucky you didn't miss the train"

Rachael says softly as she sees the worried face on Ophélie's face before she looks away and smiles up at her "no worries, luckily i got Snacks before the train left would you like some?"

Rachael Mumbles as she lifts some snacks that was in her pocket and she lifts some towards Ophélie and she watches her with a smile and her hair falls in her face and she chuckles to herself before she flicks her head to the side to get her hair out of her face

Waiting..
The blonde girl looks at her in the eye, with a curious expression. Then, she mentions not hearing what Ophélie just mumbles. Deliberatly ignoring the question, the young girl focused on what the stranger says next, smiling gently :
"Feel free to sit. I'm Rachael, Rachael Roseheart Nice to meet you"

Fighting against her cheaks that desperately tried to covers in red, she succeded to show a semblance of a smile on her face (if the interlocutor is observant, he will see the smile is forced) and responded with a voice that she congratulated herself for sounding calm.
"Well, I am enchanted to meet you too Rachael, my name is Ophélie Stardust."

Right after introducing herself, Rachael put her book down on her lap, reaches her hand out for a handshake that Ophélie graciously accepts.
Rachael makes the remark that she was lucky for not have missed the train. Ophélie nodds a bit embarassed and admirative of Rachael's oral fluency. She looks so sure of herself ! How is she doing to look so relaxed ? Isn't she thinking about the fact she is going to be surrounded by strangers ? Working in a completely unknown place ? She would love to be this serene but she is anxious by nature and cannot manage to relieve her stress efficiently, unfortunately...
She also proposes some snack. Ophélie expected her to be less talkative but softens as Rachael makes this proposition. The black-haired girl gladly accepts, remembering to sit down.
The cushioned benches in deep burgundy upholstery seems softened by the passage of former passengers.

The train hums under Ophélie's feet, alive with motion, continuing tirelessly its incessant buzzing. It's her first time traveling in a steam engine like this one. She is not used to so much noise... There are so many people ! She regrets her house, her gardens were all you can hear is birdsongs and the soft whisper of the wind. Between the window, patchwork fields leave space to distant forests, filled with mystery. Lost in her mind Ophélie may have not heard if Rachael wanted to draw her attention, she had return to her reading. Ophélie begins to get bored and decides to read her book too, to make her travel shorter. She opens it and starts to disconnect from reality, carried away in the world contained between the pages of her novel.
