Lets see what you can do
@Olivia CuthburtAs march approached so did spring, the change in the season had been noticable and the last week of febuary had brought back the sun.
Like it, today was a nice day, the hesitant but noticable warm from the sun had brought many students out into the courtyard, including Ellen.
The girl kicked a rubber, brown ball slugishly, keeping it close to her as she manuvered between the students looking for a place to play, or maybe another person to play with? There werent a lot of students Ellen knew who seemed interested in playing a good ol game of ball. But alas The buzz from the other people gave her all the energy she needed to play on her own.
After some laps around the courtyard she eventually landed at a quiet spot with a wall. It stood ever so slightly in the shade which made the area wet, cold and uninviting. Likely why the benches that were placed there stayed empty. Perfect to launch the ball as hard as she could.
She rolled the ball back and to a stop and then gave it a nice hard kick. It landed against the wall with a loud thud and ricocheted back onto her playing field. The girl ran after it and then kicked it back to the wall. And again. Hm Maybe it wouldve been more fun with an actual football but with this ball it was actually quite boring she had no idea how people did this on their own for long periods of time.
Ellen bend forwards to pick up the ball and strutted back to busy area of the courtyard, ball held tightly against her chest. There had to be at least someone out who wanted to kick a ball with her.
Lets see what you can do

Olivia was sat in the sun taking it all in, it had been a while since they had nice weather like this and she was not going to let it go to waste. Some of her friends had joined her and they were all in their own worlds while sharing the odd comment or joke with eachother.
As she scanned all the other students she felt a sense of calm, it was a nice scene, some were reading others just sunbathing or relaxing and some going for a mere stroll by doing laps. She couldn't help but smile. Just then from the corner of her eye she saw what seemed to be another 1st year with shoulder length blonde hair kicking a ball against a wall. What a peculiar ball to play one touch with, she thought. She paid the girl no intrest and turned her attention back to the group. A little while later she saw the same girl walking around as she held the ball to her chest, she seemed a little bored, maybe she discovered she couldnt play that game alone, not with a rubbish ball like that.
Olivia stood up and made her way over, "Hey pass me the ball," she said with a smile, "Let me show you a few tricks," she said getting ready to show off, afterall football was one of her sports. "I'm Olivia by the way," she introduced. She had seen this girl around she just couldn't remember her name, she was very chatty in class, gosh something Attaway but what? she thought scrambling her mind to figure it out.
