"Be less curious about people and more curious about ideas"
✧ CHARACTER INFORMATION ✧

✧ History ✧ReducioLauren was born in Amersham, on the edge of Chiltern Hills. She had two elder brothers and two sisters who were twins. Her normal life would have been like any other human being. She would wake up, take a shower, and eat her breakfast. Afterwards, she would take a short stroll to the library and borrow a good book to read — about 200 pages or more. She would then go to the river. She often read by the tree facing the river.
Any person probably would not look twice if they saw her on the street. But, unlike any other child, she did not have a friend. She often tried to talk to the other village children but they ignored her. Books were Lauren's friend. She felt that books were less complicated compared to people.
Her favourite book was most probably ‘The Grapes of Wrath’. For books, all she had to do was open the book up and read it. For humans, you had to talk to them — which was not exactly her strong point. Lauren often wished that she could be like her sisters. They could go to the playground and come back with many new friends. That was her secret wish.
Even in school, Lauren could not find any friends. The boys would tease her continuously while the girls would spread rumours about her.
✧ First Instance of Magic ✧ReducioWhen Lauren was 5, her parents cut her hair into an ugly haircut which is a bowl cut and her hair grew back almost immediately. Also, when she was 9, one boy was bullying her, and she accidentally set fire to his clothes.
