Saphira has been raised by her lovely Father and Mother. Both loved her with all their heart. She was always supported by her parents, and like that, her childhood passed by more uneventfully. Nothing special happened in her previous schools either. She had gotten two best friends back then, and she still calls them every now and then.
Because of that, she had never been alone in her school life, and at home, she had always had her older, a bit more protective brother, who also always supported her. Even when the little family discovered that Saphira had magic in her, her older brother never envied her; he only grew more protective as she got more special in his eyes.
Saphira had always been with someone, and it helped to make her braver, but she also didn’t have any alone time. She liked being alone, as much as she liked being with her friends. So, she sometimes sneaked outside, to search for an empty space. Meaning she now likes to go to places where no other people are.
This had once gotten her into trouble, because her overprotective family didn’t know where she was and even called the police to find her. After she had come back from alone, she had gotten scolded by her parents. Her brother had silently stood by the side and even though he had been as worried as the parents he had also understood her. In the end, Saphira needed to promise to first tell her parents where she was going to, before sneaking away. Saphira did, but only told her brother about it, not their parents. Because Saphira knew that her brother would leave her alone, and she wasn’t sure if her parents would do the same.

She first learned that she had magic in her when she was eight years old. She and her family had congratulated her brother on his birthday, and Saphira gifted him a blue feather. But just in the moment when she wanted to give it to him, their mother let something fall, which made a loud noise. Both Saphira and her brother were in shock, but they calmed down a moment later, only to see that the feather was hovering in the air. Both the kids watched it in awe. Their parents noticed that something was strange and turned around to look at them, ignoring the destroyed plate. They both froze in shock when they saw that the feather was hovering in the air. But they both quickly calmed down and glanced at each other, both were thinking the same. "Our daughter is more incredible than we thought."
