Elowins heart was racing and beating hard, baby hard! The reason for this was that she had been allowed by her parents to buy herself a pet! Her mother had suggested an owl and her father had said she could buy what ever she wanted! Elowin walked into the shop, hearing the bell tinkle gently walked in nervously. The friendly couple that owned the Magical Menagerie smiled at her and the woman asked her if she could help her with anything. “No, but thank you for the offer” said Elowin politely. “ Nice manners, that girl has!”remarked the man his eyes twinkling and Elowin smiled back at him. Elowin walked around the place thinking about what to get. The squawking owls, the squeaking rats and the slimy toads. None of the animals particularly caught Elowins blue eyes, until she heard a slight quiet snuffling squeaky sound. Elowin spun round trying to see the source of the sound. “Over there, dear- that’s one of our nicest rabbits, isn’t he beautiful? He’s our only two colour devils spawn!” Said the lady of the couple. “Go, look at him!” Elowin smiled, “Of course!” And she walked over to the place where the lady had pointed where there was a black and white fluffy rabbit. Elowin immediately picked him up and brought him to the counter.
