The Potion Pursuit PV

Evelyn stood in front of the Potions shelf, staring dejectedly at the new gap of missing potions. She had been looking for Boomslang skin, and now even ingredients were going missing, as if the potions weren’t enough. She had turned all the shelves upside down, to no result whatsoever. Evelyn scanned her eyes across all the potions again. Nope.
She went to a corner of the room, and slid down the wall.
Her house had been blamed. Her beloved house, which had enough of reason to be blamed, but which she was sure wasn't fair to be blamed.
Granted, most of the Slytherins didn’t give a shit to what happened and what didn’t, but even so. She cared, and she was going to clear the Slytherins’ names. Problem was, she didn’t have a lead, and she wasn’t sure any if the other houses was willing to help. But she knew she had a friend from Gryffindor who would give anything to help. It wasn’t fair that she wasn’t letting her, but the sweet Gryffindor really bit more than she could chew sometimes.
Maybe Evelyn should call upon her help. The Gryffindor was generally smart and all, so she figured she should let her help after all.

Evelyn made her way to the Great Hall. She glanced across the Gryffindor table, but Rupkatha was nowhere to be found. She was just getting to the exit gate, when she noticed a group of Slytherins chatting in a close huddle. As she inched near, she caught a few words: ‘Potions’, ‘Slytherins’, ‘always(!)’ and ‘why(?!)’. She deduced that they were talking about the missing potions incident, and left.
Evelyn went back to the dungeons, when she found Rupkatha and Krishnavi almost at once.

I’d rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints. The sinners are a lot more fun, thank you.
