Another day, another duel she finally got the chance to moderate. She couldn't believe she had been offered the opportunity again. It had surprised her honestly when she'd received the note in unfamiliar handwriting. It had just excited her more.

So here she was. She had arrived at the dueling club early. She couldn't be late to meet the mystery opponents she would moderate. The mystery just made the duel even more fun. It added an air that wasn't part of normal duels.

The duel also got Avery's mind off the fact that soon enough she would be leaving for Russia. A place she had never before thought of visiting. Then again, she was ready for it. She would be competing in figure skating. A competition she had never thought she'd ever do either, but of course there was a first time for everything.

Shaking her head, Avery forced herself to get her head out of the clouds and into game mode. She needed to stay focused. Human life could possibly be on the line, and she had to be ready to deal with it if something happened. That was something Avery knew she couldn't live with. She couldn't watch another person lose their life. Not again.
