There is a reason why Cash called the Qudditch training pitch or the Quidditch Stadium or any Quidditch fields their second home. Quidditch had run in their blood and flesh for as long as Cash remembered it. Their mother was Chaser for Ravenclaw, and so was their father. Cash's father was the Beater for House of Slytherin when both of them attended this very school.
Lavi (Cash's father) used to go pro and played in one of those Quidditch clubs before he changed his career to become an Auror. It was a slow, not a secret, that the green eyes are, and an avid broom collector. One might think that having one broom was enough, but not for the young Ironwoods. Aside from the Silver Arrow that Cash is astride right now, they have Comet 180 (a hand-me-down broom that once belonged to their mother) and Firebolt.
Cash next list of broom purchases are Nimbus 2001, Oakshaft 79, and Varรกpidos. The last broom Cash eyed it, where once upon a time they had visited Brazil to see their mother's brother's family. In six days, the Winter Games will proceed. And Cash needs any spare time they get to adjust to and practice their new role on the team.
Cash had been the Slytherin's First-String Beater for the last three years (started at the summer after Cash Second up to the first few weeks of their fifth year). After they try-out for the team again and got the role of Slytherin's Second-String Keeper, their body and movement still feels weird. It wasn't an easy task to accustomed to something new.
But Cash being sorted into Slytherin not for nothing. They determined to moved up the ladder to become once again the First-String of any position in the Slytherin Quidditch team before they graduated from Hogwarts. And so, with Cash being mildly high up in the air and with the wind gently whipping their shoulder-length brown hair softly, Cash took a deep breath.
The Sixth year managed to roped one of their teammate to have a brief practice with them before the Winter Game approaching. Once the little practice was over and their teammate trekked back to the Hogwarts castle again, the former Prefect of Slytherin decided to stay back a little while as they took in the Quidditch Training Pitch ambiance and atmosphere during this still Winter season at the Scottish Highland school.

Zephyr was drowning in homework, he spent the entire morning buried in his bajillion of schoolwork. He made a strict schedule that day, no flying until he finished everything. If he didn't do it this way, he would just end up procrastinating, eventually give up, and go flying instead. That would leave his homework undone, and the next day would be worse for him. He didnโt like panicking on the day of the deadline, so he sucked it up and forced himself to focus. He lost track of the time, but when he closed his textbook and checked the time, it was already late in the afternoon. Oh wow, I've been doing my homework for that long! Even missing lunch! He stretched his arms and legs. At least the work was done, and now, flying!
He grinned as he changed into comfortable clothes for the cold weather and then grabbed his broom on the way out of his dorm. He headed straight to one of the towers, his heart beating faster at the thought of finally flying. As soon as he reached the top, he kicked off and shot into the air. He was welcomed with a cold breeze, but was exhilarated to the point he shouted at the top of his lungs, not caring if anyone below heard him. The sky was endless and free.
Not everyone liked heights, but he did. He liked the feeling of wind brushing against his face and the control he had over the broom. Since arriving at Hogwarts, he got a taste of Quidditch and broom racing, both unofficial matches. Those experiences made him realise that flying was not entirely for fun, it was something he could focus on, something that offered challenge and tested his capacity as a person. The rush of racing through the air reminded him of climbing trees back home, but it was more freeing.
After a morning spent doing nothing but homework and sitting still, this was a perfect excuse to unwind. Flying helped clear his mind and ease his stress. The higher he went, the tinier the world below looked. He liked flying so much now because of the speed or height and the sense that he could push himself to do something challenging and that nothing else could bother him while he was up here. Flying had become more than a sport. It gave him freedom, focus and reminded him that he's more than capable as a person.
Once he was high enough, he started trying out different maneuvers he had seen other students do in the matches he was a part of. Tried small dives and the wind pushed past his face, then he went down fast, and pulled up again just in time, all the while his heart was pounding so fast. He didn't notice he already reached the Quidditch pitch as he flew and practised. Though tired, he was feeling energised. He could always rely on flying to clear his head and test his limits.
Seeing as the pitch was not in use by any teams that time, Zephyr just made one quick lap and went down to rest, not noticing the presence of one student.

N / AAs Cash hover at such a great height over the Training Pitch astride their Silver Arrow, the world they were in seems to fade into nothing. The whipping of the winter wind breezes through their shoulder-length hair. The air whistled softly as it hit the Sixth Year's face.
The green eyes closed as they took a deep breath. Inhaling the clean air. Let the air fill their lungs to the fullest, and slowly the Second-String Keeper exhale it; The Scotish Highlands air gave them peace and tranquility.
The kind of tranquility that Cash needs to calm their from time-to-time chaotic mind. As the young Ironwoods opened their eyes again, the Pitch was still empty. 7The sole occupants of the winter grassy ground were themselves.
The Healer aspire then smirked to themselves. They wanted to do a broom stunt that they never done before. The wind suddenly picked up into a hard blow of cold air. Cash had become accustomed to the unpredictable Hogwarts' air.
They had been and felt that kind of weather for six years. Quidditch matches were known to be brutal. Not just because the players on both teams were involved, but also because the unforgiving weather, especially during winter, could happen from time to time during matches.
And so, with that set of mind, Cash grabbed the shaft of their broom tightly and made a sharp dive toward the ground. Their Silver Arrow moves downhill fast. Faster than what Cash could calculate and predict.
Because of that wrong calculation and prediction, Cash was suddenly thrown off their broom. Good thing the distance when they fell from their broom to the ground wasn't that dangerous. "Holy fuck!"They cursed out in Spanish.
Cash was ready to take flight again after that almost nasty fall, then realized that they were not the only occupant of the Pitch anymore. In the distance, their green eyes watch a boy flying around the Pitch, then get off his broom to take a rest.
Cash never met the boy before. They could easily ignore the boy. But as they said, 'curiousity kill the cat'. And so, with Cash holding their Silver Arrow in their left hand, Cash marched toward the boy. As Cash comes closer, the boy looks younger than they are.
Perhaps he is in his First or Second year. "You,"Cash said to the boy, extruding authority and demand. "Since when did you get in here?"They question the boy. "And who are you?"Cash inquired.
The Slytherin Quidditch robe that Cash wore, waving like a flag behind them, because it got blown by the wind as Cash brushed back their slightly disheveled hair into place. So, they look at least a bit appropriate and decent in the situation they are currently in. ๐ฏ๐ฝ๐ ๐ช๐๐๐ป๐พ๐๐Dark Blue Turtleneck +

Zephyr finished his lap and landed to take a quick break when he heard a rush of wind, it was loud that he can only assume they have a fast broom. He looked up just in time to see someone dove sharply that he actually held his breath. Thatโs too fast...He thought, both in concern and amazement. He was in that state when the rider lost control that he sucked in a breath and stepped forward in response.
He swore his heart jumped to his throat when he saw the person got thrown off her broom. Good thing it was not that high. Thank Merlin! But... it was still enough to make him flinch especially when he heard her curse. Two things he realized when he heard that: first, at least she's okay if she can scream like that, and second, that tone told him she's pissed. Who wouldn't be anyway? That was definitely in another language, one that sounded Spanish but he couldn't be sure. His brain lagged as he tried to process everything at once while his heart was still beating way too fast. She stood up looking fine but it was terrifying for him especially when he just came from an accident himself.
He stayed where he was, awkwardly he might add, just standing with his broom beside him, pretending he didn't panic at all. He watched as the older student picked up their broom and started walking toward him. uh oh.... She's coming over here. What am I supposed to do?! He realized something, who the girl was, she's a Slytherin Quidditch player. He had seen her from a few matches he watched but seeing her up close, she's... intimidating...very confident. Something tells him he was not supposed to be here officially.
Hearing her tone, his shoulders tensed, his entire body straightened so fast that he almost knock his own broom over. โI... uh--โ Great start dumbo. He swallowed and tried to look calm even though his ears were warming. โI... I thought the pitch was empty, I didnโt see anyone when I flew in. I swear.โ He said quickly his words tumbled. โI was not trying to interrupt practice or anything.โ
โYou scared me for a second...โ He should tie his tongue, he shouldn't have opened up that one. Idiot. โI thought you were gonna hit the ground way harder than that.โ What? Stop talking! You're digging your own grave! He looked nervous but trying his best to be polite. โIโm Zephyr. Iโm not on the team, I just fly sometimes to clear my head.โ He glanced at the Silver Arrow, โUh... are you okay though?โ
