Something's brewing... and it's not my potion
Valencia was practically running through the halls, about to be late for her potions class. "Crap, crap, crap." she uttered under her breath as she ran; she knew she was going to be late one way or another if she didn't hurry. The only problem, she couldn't remember which door led to which class. As she ran, she quickly looked down at her hands, making sure she had her potions book because goodness- she couldn't forget another thing.
She comes to the two doors at the end of the corridor, one on the right, one on the left. She hesitated, not knowing which door to choose. "I think it's the... left?" She quickly decided out loud, rushing towards the left door. Lucky for her, she chose correctly, getting her into the potions class right on time, heaving at that, earning her some looks from other students in the class.
Valencia has always been a decently smart student; her only problem is sleeping through her alarms. To make up for it, she tries her hardest to excel in her studies, so she prefers sitting at the front or middle of the classroom, and lucky for her, there's an open desk right in the middle of the front row. It's a double desk, but no one is sitting there for now, so Valencia takes her seat, grateful she chose the right door and made it on time, but today, something feels different; the empty presence next to her gives her a weird feeling, but maybe, just maybe, someone would fill it.

Something's brewing... and it's not my potion
I stumbled slightly, feeling jittery the dungeons felt like a place out of a horror movie, and it made Mary feel all sorts of excitement! Just the thought of brewing potions, making all sorts of mistakes, her teacher looking at her all disappointed… on second thought that feeling of excitement turn into a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach.. but it was too late Mary had already entered the class and was regretting it. Every desk looked full! Until Mary spotted a girl sitting at a double desk with a seat empty next to her. Mary bite her lip and slowly walked over, she wasn’t good at talking, or walking correctly when she was nervous.. she definitely wasn’t walking very well right now, she could feel her knees shaking as she approached the desk, and she pulled every bit of confidence she could muster and smiled. “Can l sit here?” Mary felt a bit of pride at the fact that her voice wasn’t shaky! But it definitely sounded squeaky.. darn. Mary didn’t let that faze her, she allowed herself to straighten and looked the girl directly in her eyes, not letting herself feeling scared.. or doubtful.. or like she should run away and curl up under her bed forever.. NOPE! She definitely didn’t feel that way AT ALL! Right..
Some wounds feel so deep we don't think they'll heal, but when we open our eyes and truly look through the pain we see these three: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
