Kayleigh Green - First Year - Ravenclaw (Encyclopedia part 1)
My name is Kayleigh Green, and I'm a first year Ravenclaw at Hogwarts. I was born on the 1oth of November, 2013, and I am currently 12 years old. I live in Bristol with my Mum, Dad, older sister, and my 2 younger brothers.
My mum and dad are both muggles, and so are my brothers, but my sister is a witch. She is a 6th year Ravenclaw, however she is an exchange student at Beauxbatons this year.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, gardening, drawing and spending time with my dog Phillipe. He is a corgi. I have wanted to be a vet for a long time, but now I am a witch, it would be cool to be a vet for magical creatures. I have also done karate for 5 years and I am now a 1st level black belt.
My first instance of magic was when I was 7 and I was playing on an old tyre swing, but the branch it was attached to snapped. It fell right on top of me but I wasn't hurt at all!
My wand is 31.6 cm aspen wood with dragon heartstring, which is quite cool. It fits in my hand perfectly and looks like ivory. I love it.
At Hogwarts, I'm really excited to make new friends and learn stuff, but I am quite nervous because I have never been very good at making friends. I am also excited to explore the castle and visit the library.
