Raised in a home of silent figures, Nessa finds herself often carrying the same type of observant silence as the adults in her life. Preferring to listen to the knowleedge that most so frequnt give to her for free, she finds herslef privy to many secrets. Those who know Nessa find her to be distant and even unkind in some cases, though she is neither cold nor unkind. Curious by nature, she is drawn to books containg: Rune Magic, and historical knowledge. Nessa values restraint and self-control, having been raised in the pure-blood Wizarding and Vampiric world, she was raised in polite society. She is mannered, thoughtful, and introspective, with a dry, subtle wit revealed only to those she befriends.

Located in the medieval town of Sighișoara, Transylvania, was the generational home of the Cernătescu family. The Cernătescu’s were a well known dark wizarding family of Sighișoara. The ancestral manor located in the heart of the town, was an austere building of stone and ancient wards that had belonged to the family for over 800 years. The Lord of the estate, Constantin Cernătescu, was a gifted potioneer that had long been interested in the beautiful Elena Cernătescu nee' Botezatu. Elena was an Ancient Runes governess that was frequently employed by local wizarding families. The two had met when Lord Cernătescu required a governess for his niece Bella. Quickly did they fall into love, and were wedded January of 1997. Elena, who was also from a pure-blooded wizarding family, was quick to give their daughter's hand in marriage, especially to a young handsome wizard, such as Nessa's father. Alas, after the birth of their first child, who was registered as half-breed, the purity of Lord Cernătescu’s blood began to be put into question. Both Lord and Lady Cernătescu, were hesitant to reveal Lord Cernătescu's nature, especially now with Nessa and another child soon on the way, Lady Cernătescu, was far from willing to risk the wrath of the Botezatu House.
As the years passed and the birth of their now fourth child; Nessa's parents were beginning to discuss relocating their family. With the rising scrutiny of vampire wizard households in Romania, they were compelled to leave. Packing up their necessities, Lady Cernătescu took her children: Nessa Cernătescu, Andrei Cernătescu, David Cernătescu, and her newborn Nicloas Cernătescu, to Bulgaria. With all children in tow, the Lady sought safety and anonymity in Bansko for her family.. Nessa's Father remained in the Carpathians to maintain ties, while corresponding through sealed owls to his wife and children.
It wasn’t until the winter of 2018 that the Romanian Ministry, had confirmed what the Botezatu family had long suspected. A routine review of lineage records was initiated under the pretense of inheritance clarification. Which revealed inconsistencies in Lord Cernătescu’s blood classification that could no longer be overlooked. Subsequent inquiries were conducted discreetly and without the knowledge of Lady Cernătescu, and led to the undeniable conclusion that Constantin Cernătescu was not merely associated with vampiric households, but was himself a vampire. The news spread like wildfire, and had cast immediate scrutiny upon the legitimacy of the Cernătescu's marriage and, more importantly, upon the nature of the children born of it.
Within weeks, Nessa Cernătescu’s blood status was reclassified under sealed Ministry authority, her records amended and restricted to the Head of House Botezatu. The ruling was delivered without appeal. Citing concerns for the children’s safety amid increasing hostility toward vampire affiliated wizarding families, the Botezatus enacted custodial authority over Nessa and her youngest brother, Nicholas. The decision was framed as protective, procedural, and made final. Under House oversight, provisions were made for their education, guardianship, and continued monitoring. By her tenth birthday, Nessa was enrolled at Durmstrang, a decision that finally granted her the freedom to contact her parents and siblings. With reconnecting ties with her family, more than ever, Nessa is objective to return to the Botezatus household. Alas, she couldn't leave Nicholas behind, and it’s her love for her little brother that keeps her within the iron grasp of their grandparents.

Despite the Motezatu's best efforts to keep Nessa’s nature concealed, her vampiric heritage manifests far too clearly to be fully hidden. Possessing the same paler, with a porcelain smooth complexion that her own father possesses. Paired with a pronounced aversion to sunlight that leaves her most comfortable in dim or overcast conditions. From her mother, she inherited large gray eyes, a trait that was often found in her mother's line. Her pupils often dilate in low lighting, turning to inky black pools. At the right angle, a dark red tint could barely be seen amongst the mercury of her eyes.

Being a small and delicately built girl, she stands at 5.3'ft (160 cm), possessing a very fragile disposition. Long straight black hair falls freely around her face, framing that was refined by straight cut bangs that rest above her brow. A beautiful set of dark red pearls hand from her ears, a matching neckace around her neck; a gift from her father and she was rarely seen not wearing the jewlery. Her nails curve just slightly sharper than normal, but is often perceived as well kept almond shaped nails.

Hidden behind pink gums, Nessa possesses retractable fangs that she often felt had a mind of their own. Unlike her father’s flawless, predatory fangs, Nessa's carry a small but embarrassing gap in her pearly whites. A flaw she is deeply self-conscious about and quietly envies her father for lacking.

She for her mannerisms, Nessa isn't much of a fidgitor, keeping her hands softly clasped togther infron of her. When deep in thought, she often tilts her head unconsciously, as she has been previously told, an eerie habit.
