A meeting with a alien
Bren was walking home from school, clutching at his test paper. He couldn't believe his eyes.
It was a math test and he had got a 100 out of 100. "How did I do this" he wondered aloud.
Suddenly he hears a squeak and a grunt from somewhere. He looks around and immediately
runs to the spot he thought he heard the sound from. There he saw the old Vines Yard.
Vines Yard was a very old abandoned house that was known to everyone. Bren walked around
it and saw a strange looking hole in the back wall. It was dazzling bright with all the colours
in a rainbow. As Bren looked at it, it became even more dazzling. Bren thought that he could
easily get through it. So he stepped in front of it and made the run straight for it. As he entered
the hole he saw a nothing but a blank black picture in his mind. When he blinked and opened them
again, he saw himself lying on a hard, purple-sanded, floor. He got up and dusted himself.
Then he looked where he had come. But before he could do that, he saw a alien. He couldn't
believe it. Aliens were considered fantasy. He sped after the grunting alien and shouted, " Hey,
wait up! I need to talk to you!." But the alien went on. It was not until Bren shouted for the fifth
time, this time in his ears, that the alien stopped and turned around. Bren stared at it.
It had a elfish look and a bubbly head. "Hey," said Bren, " I am sorry for disturbing you but where
am I?" The alien stared at him before speaking in a sqeaky tone. " You are in the noble planet of
Nero Zero." Bren immediately said, " Nero Zero? Never heard of it. Nevermind, can you help me
get back to Earth?" The alien stared before answering, "Of course! Er.. what is Earth?" Bren replied
wearily, " It's our planet. But if you don't-"
"I know! I know! I remember!", said the alien jumping up and down. Bren stared at it for a moment
before saying " Fine then, can you help me?" The alien replied " Of course! Here...."
And he created another dazzling circle and this time Bren knew where it lead. After a cheery
goodbye, both of them parted and Bren stepped into the whole. Again his mind went blank before
he found himself on the street again. He rushed home while thinking " Aliens are sure funny
creatures."
