Hi أم1, hi Dad!
I know I said I'd write the first night, but I didn't want to risk trying to find the owlery and then find my way back to my dorm before curfew. But it's okay, because I got up early this morning, so I'm writing this before I go down to the great hall.
So, update time I suppose. I'm in Slytherin! I know it's not what I was excited and looking forward to but I'm honestly not that disappointed. The people seem pretty nice actually, and the prefect who led us to the common room was really nice, even though I can't remember her name. The common room is under the lake! It's so cool, you'd love it! I don't actually know if I'm allowed to tell you that, but I already wrote it down so it's too late. I think it'd be a waste of ink to go over it entirely, you know?
Anyways, how are you two? I know it's only been a day but I miss you already. Make sure to keep Tubbo's cage clean since I'm not there to do it.

Hi أم1, Hi Dad!
I know I just wrote to you, but everything is so exciting here and I need to tell someone about it. And it cant be the other students because they're all experiencing it too so telling them about it would be a waste of time, you know?
And I know dad already knows about all this from his school years, but أم doesn't, so I can tell her all about it! There's candles that float in the great hall, they actually just float there over our heads, can you believe it? And the teachers all look like they came right out of one of my books! Classes have been really exciting so far, and my dorm mates are super cool. You'd probably like them.
I've gotten lost three times already, the stairs move around and they never lead to where I think they're going to. I've only been late once though! And the professor was really nice, said something about a grace period for first years.
Anyways, I should probably run, I keep waiting to write until I have other things to do so I'm sorry these letters aren't longer.

Hi أم1, Hi Dad!
It's been a bit since my last letter so it's time to update you again! I've been loving all of my classes, they're absolutely amazing! Especially DADA and potions, I think those are going to be my favorite this year.
I have a quill pall now! Those are like pen palls but for wizard school. I've never had anything like that before and it's really cool. My quill pall is also in Slytherin. We got off to a rocky start but I think we're going to be great friends. We're probably going to go on some sort of grand adventure or something. We haven't actually met in person yet, which is odd seeing as the school is THAT big. But I'm really looking forward to meeting her.
Layla is really enjoying the owlry, it's got as much food as she wants so what's not to love, you know?
How are things back home? I haven't heard much from you guys. Hopefully you're staying safe.
