The Great Lake

Ivory sat down beside the edge of the Great Lake. She opened her bag and carefully took a book out. Book Of Spells was written on the front in gold. She carefully opened it. She rummaged around in her bag and quickly retrieved a piece of paper and a quill. She bent over weirdly as she searched for the pot of ink. Eventually, she found it and opened it, setting it beside her. She opened the book and started reading. An owl soared overhead. She copied random words down for her homework. She disliked homework very much and didn't seem a point in it really. She watched a few people skate on the lake. She was wearing a grey and black jumper with a star on it. She also had a pair of black jeans on. For accessories, she was wearing green gloves, a slytherin scarf and her dark green claw clip. She also had a bone clip either side of her hair to pin back her bangs. She had her silver snake ring and her silver bracelet on too. It had an owl and a snake imprinted on it. It had been a birthday present her mother bought her before she left for hogwarts. She hated her mother but she did have good style when it came to presents. It was almost like her mother knew she was going to be sorted into slytherin. She found herself doodling at the top of her homework. She drew a small cat, then coloured it in. It kinda reminded Ivory of when she rescued that kitten. She was very little...only about 9 years old. A group of boys were bullying this kitten. It was small with a white chest. They were kicking the small cat. Fortunately for that kitten, they were stood under a balcony. All of a sudden, a plant pot started levitating. It hovered over one of the boys head before dropping dramatically onto his head. He started rolling ariund on the floor. She laughed at the memory. It was funny. She had kept the kitten. Her mother sadly didn't let her bring the cat to hogwarts. Ivory picked up her belongings and put then neatly back in her bag. She grabbed the bag, stood up and quickly left.
